Replacement Lead Leg for Venture 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear - 33-1/2" Long

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement 33 1/2 inch long Extended Length Lead Leg for the Venture 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear. Now, this part will replace the landing gear and lead leg assembly on your Lippert Components Venture 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear. Now the lead leg, which is the driver side leg, is identified by where the motor and gearbox attaches. If you look at the very top here, you see the shaft right here, that sort of attach to your motor and your gear box. Now, this is the only motor in the system and it'll control the operation of both legs.

This leg is very easy to install, it will mount to the inside of the frame rail using mounting brackets. Now, the mounting brackets are not included, we do sell does separately on our website. And I mentioned, since this is the extended version of the lead leg, the weldstop measurements, which are the two critical measurements over here, will be different than the standard length leg. Let me just zoom in and show you what we're talking about. Here's the weldstop right here, and then here's one right here.

So they gave you two measurements, the outside, which will be here to here, and the inside of the weldstop. So on this one, we're gonna measure. Again, it's the extended length, so the outside to outside measurement is 21 1/2 inches, and the inside to inside is 19 1/2 inches. Now, if you noticed, the foot pad is not included, you can use the one you already have, if you do need one, we do sell one separately on our website, it would attach right into the drop leg right here. And if you noticed, it does include the snapper pin here that'll let you extend out that drop leg.

You can see that drop leg will extend out all the way up to 21 inches. Once you find the correct height for your application, you just line that hole up, and once you get the right hole there, put your pin, snap it in there, and it locks it and holds it at that height. This part is made in the USA. Few specs on this, the black outer tube length from here to here is going to measure right at 33 1/2 inches long, and the inner tube travel, your inner tube right here that'll be operated by the motor, that total travel on that is gonna be 19 3/4 inches.
