Today we're going to take a look at the Lippert Component garage step brackets for RV steps. Now, these allow you to mount your RV steps to them and then mount them to the wall instead of having them on your RV, so on the off-season whenever you don't want to have your steps hanging out getting rusty, you can mount them inside your garage or another convenient location.So they come with the two brackets as well as two clevis pins and two cotter pins. So we'll just take our clevis pin, put it through the bracket, then it will go through our steps and back out, and then we can then secure that in place with our cotter pin. I'll try it with my right hand, do it a little bit better. So that will keep your step secured up and out of the way.As far as dimensions, our brackets are both going to be about 2-7/8" across. The inside dimension is going to be about 2-5/8".

Going the other direction, it's about 4" long, and then about 2-1/4" tall, so a pretty small footprint for these brackets. The distance between the mounting holes center-to-center is about 3-1/4".Now, this doesn't come with any mounting hardware. You will have to provide that on your own. You want to make sure that you get something sturdy enough to hold the weight of your steps.
