I really like the bike wing because of its light weight, versatility and for how the bikes attach but gave it only 4 stars for 3 minor reasons. 1st the instructions could be a little better. There was no english version so I just looked at the picture on the box. 2nd the wheel cradles could be just a little longer for the wider suspension forks like I have. 3rd, while it does come with anti rattle bolts to attach to the bike wing stringer and the hitch, it still moves around a bit because they use snap pins to attach the “wings” to the Y base. BTW, my snap pins were missing so I picked up a couple at Menards. I’m sure they would have gladly sent me some but this was faster.

Speaking of versatility, I attached mine to the 24”x60” folding/tilting rear cargo carrier using the bike base (see photos). That worked out better than expected and with no modifications to either carrier. There is room for 2 bikes (I tried it) but can only open the rear hatch with one bike on the carrier. I purposely mounted the bike wing towards the front to keep the bikes tucked up close to reduce drag but it could be mounted to the rear if desired. As you can see there is plenty of room on the rack even with the bike wing. You just have to take into account the weight of the bike wing and bikes when loading.

  • Bike Rack Solution for 2018 Winnebago Minnie 1710 that Has Lippert Jack-It
Is there anyway to get your bikes under 40 lbs like maybe by removing the seats and/or batteries? If so, there's a really easy solution with the Lippert Bike Wing Adapter part # LC731137 since your trailer has the Jack-It adapter mounted to the jack flange. Other than that there really isn't a great bike rack solution since you'd need so much extension for your bike rack to fit and clear the trailer jack unless you'd consider a front hitch for the truck or there was a hitch at the rear...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation to fit Jack It/Bump It Adapter on Trailer
We have just what you need! Sounds like you have the Bump-it/Jack it receiver already installed on your trailer so then for just a bike rack to fit that you'd want the # LC731137 and you'd be set. This gives you the BikeWing style of bike rack that's very lightweight and easy to load/unload.

  • Can The BikeWing 2 Bike Carrier Be Used On The Rear Of A Camper?
I spoke with Lippert, and with use of the Bump-It Hitch Receiver Adapter for Jack-It 2 Bike Rack # LC723359 will be able to mount the BikeWing 2 Bike Carrier for BikeBase or Bump-It Mounting Adapter # LC731137 to the rear of your camper.

  • Trailer Tongue Adapter for the BikeWing Carrier
I have a possible solution for you. First, though, the PowerTower frame of the Lets Go Aero Jack-It, part # LC671846, is not available on its own. However, BikeWing, part # LC731137, does have another trailer tongue mount. It's the BikeBase Trailer Tongue Adapter for BikeWing Carrier, part # LC731157. It doesn't have the same clearance, but it fits around 2" to 4" wide trailer tongue.

  • Is the # LC731138 the Same as the Combination of the # LC731157 and # LC731137?
I am not really sure what you mean by dogleg component, but I can definitely confirm that the Hitch-It 2 Bike Rack for Straight Tongue Trailers # LC731138 comes with the BikeWing 2 Bike Carrier for BikeBase or Bump-It Mounting Adapter # LC731137 and the BikeBase Trailer Tongue Adapter for BikeWing Carrier # LC731157. The # LC731138 and the combination of # LC731137 and # LC731157 is the same.

  • Can BikeBase Trailer Tongue Adapter for BikeWing Carrier Work on Ball Mount
You actually already mentioned the better option in your question, because I do not recommend using the BikeBase Trailer Tongue Adapter for BikeWing Carrier # LC731157 with the BikeWing 2 Bike Carrier for BikeBase or Bump-It Mounting Adapter # LC731137 on an extended length ball mount. The issue is that it is meant to fit 2" to 4" trailer tongues and I can't guarantee that this is going to be secure enough around a ball mount that fits in a 2" receiver. Instead, if you have the necessary...

  • Will the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount Work on a 2017 Subaru Outback with Draw-Tite Hitch
The Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210 measures 5" from the center of the ball mount hitch pin hole to the back edge of the receiver tube opening. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75673 while installed on a 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon measures 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the bumper fascia. Therefore, the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount would be a tight fit and likely rub. However, I do still have options for you to tow a trailer and...

  • How To Safely Haul Bikes While Hauling My Trailer Without Roof Rack On My 2020 Subaru Outback
Getting a dual hitch converter will pose some issues with towing. Whenever using an extension of any kind, you will reduce the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent. This isn't something you will want if you plan on hauling your trailer with your 2020 Subaru Outback. There are some other options you can use, but this will depend on your trailer. You can use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275. I've included a video to show you how...

  • Recommended Solution for Bike Rack When Towing Travel Trailer with Limited Mounting Space
I have a solution for you, and I'll start out by saying that I cannot recommend using a dual hitch adapter like the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver # MPG544 because it reduces the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on your 2013 Toyota Highlander. Unfortunately this does mean that using your Kuat Transfer V2 # KU24FR isn't an option with your trailer setup because of the side mounted jack and the front cargo box. With all of that said, you can use the BikeBase Trailer Tongue Adapter...
