Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Lippert OneControl inside camera LCD display kit. Did your RV already come equipped with an inside camera powered by OneControl If so, with this 7-inch LCD display and suction cup mount, you can complete your Insight observation system to show what is behind your RV while backing up or just traveling down the road. You simply turn this on to automatically pair with your Insight observation camera via Bluetooth. The configurable rear assist marker lines are going to show real-time distance from objects and the crisp color image can help you avoid hazards. This 7-inch touch screen has an anti-glare and anti-scratch coating. And the built-in speaker is going to project audio sent from the camera that's mounted at the rear of your RV, so that's going to be helpful and that you can hear commands from the rear of your RV from a family member or friend when you are backing this up.
So not only can you see while you're backing up your RV, but if you have a friend or a family member letting you know what direction is safe to go, you can hear those commands coming from behind your RV. Now this suction cup mount can be applied to your dash or to your windshield, and it's going to also allow for easy storage when not in use. And this mount protrudes, when it's fully extended, about 5 inches altogether from the base, from where it's going to be mounted to. And this also includes a USB cable that is going to allow you to send power to your display. And I'm gonna go ahead and just pull up my ruler here real quick and give you some overall measurements.
The overall length, we're sitting real close to 6 3/4 inches long and the height, we are sitting right at about 4 1/8 inches tall. And then just adding the height of that antenna, if you have the antenna sitting straight up from the base, that antenna is about 2 7/8 inches from the top of the display, rather, from the top of the display and this antenna can be folded down. And then the overall thickness of this unit, we're sitting pretty close, I'm taking into consideration where the connection point is for the mount, where that sticks out just a little bit. Overall, we're sitting at about 7/8 of an inch thick, and the operating temperature range is gonna be negative 4 degrees Fahrenheit to 156 degrees Fahrenheit. And the storage temperature range is gonna be negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit to 176 degrees Fahrenheit.

Works ok but bracket that holds unit up slowly loosens over time so I am constantly having to readjust. Drops connection occasionally when going down road but works much better than phone app which didn’t work at all. Seems to overheat when running in direct sun for extended period of time so now I shut off when traveling when very hot and only use to back up. Doesn’t shut off when I shut off truck so I have to remember to unplug which seems crazy to me.

Honestly, it works better than using my cell phone as a monitor for the back up camera. The picture is normally pretty good and I like the fact that I don't have to use my phone. The con is that it loses connectivity with the camera a lot but it always returns. My overall rating is that it's pretty good. I would recommend buying it even with the frequent loss of connectivity.

Easy purchase process. Install was simple. Great upgrade from using my phone for camera display. Highly recommend this display kit for the Lippert camera system.

Just what I needed to see behind my huge trailer. My only complaint is that the unit would not work until the parking lights had been turned on. This little factoid was not to to be found in the instructions.

I reached out to the manufacturer and found that beyond step one in the manual, the running lights will need to manually placed in the on position and not AUTO for the camera to be powered. I know I have my lights on AUTO and would forget this. You are correct in that this reminder is not in the manual.

The LCD display is very good. The camera is useless on my phone with the app.
However, I expected the package to be factory sealed with instructions. The display I received appears to have opened. No shrink wrap, no instructions, inside device wrap tore, the screen protector had lint under it. The display does not appear to have been used in new condition. I downloaded the instructions. Connected to the camera installed next to RV890.
All works great.

Thanks for hanging in there for me. The Insight Camera LCD Display finally came in, and just in time for the camping season.Everyone at etrailer was so helpful in keeping me informed as to the delays and was able to deliver this back ordered item earlier than expected. I'm excited to try it out and will continue using etrailer as my go-to outlet for accessories.

Allowed us to see traffic behind us clearly for manuvering in traffic. Camera mount adjustment could be more secure.

I have a Grand Design Reflection 315RLTS that had the Insight Camera preinstalled. At 38' (total rig length 58') it was too long for the camera using my cell phone as a monitor (constant drop outs and lock-ups, the picture was way too small). The Insight LCD display was very easy to install and pair with the camera. It has a big bright picture and works much better than the cell phone. While the LCD display has some occasional latency issues (that's why 4 stars), I'm happy with the purchase.
I'm very happy with etrailer. The package was shipped and delivered quickly. They've always provided me with outstanding customer service.

Came in abox that had been open. The camera and all parts were not secure and was just "floating around". Was surprised as I have ordered from etrailer before and was not lije this.

the picture is fantastic! I bought this display kit to use with the camera at the rear of the new RV I purchased. I was not comfortable with using my phone, which was suggested, so I searched for other options. This display kit was better than expected, arrived earlier than expected, and the customer service was exceptional!
