Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today we're going to take a quick look at the tire sensors for your Tire Linc 00:00:06 Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Now, depending on what your situation is, these are either going to be an add-on to your current system, or they may be a replacement. So if you've lost some of your sensors, these will work to replace them, or they will work as additional sensors. Your app can hold up to 20 different sensors, so depending on how many you want to add on how many tires you want some monitor, these will allow you at least two more if you already have four operating ones. These do come with the locking nuts that will allow these to become more of a theft-deterrent, be harder to take these off, again like with the other ones, these are a little bit more in my opinion, more trouble than they're worth. So if you're not in a high crime area, I'd probably say, don't even worry about it. Just put your tire sensors on, but just like your originals, these are going to have the ability to monitor your tire pressure on your app.

You can set the range that you want, basically all of the same functionality as the others that you already have or had, these do you have the same operating temperature range of negative 58 degrees Fahrenheit up to 401 degrees Fahrenheit. They will have the tire pressure range at zero psi up to 188 psi. So great replacements. If you need the replacements or great option to add a couple more sensors so that you can monitor a couple more tires. These do also come with a one-year warranty. So if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call.

We'd help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are going to do a good job giving you that extra peace of mind to know what's going on with your tires as you're driving down the road. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com Thanks for watching..

Excellent sevice as always

by:

Great service products were as advertis ed.

by:

Very easy to install. The sensors picked up right away on the app on my 351bh montana high country.

by:

Worth every penny.

by:

Great product very easy to set up.

by:

So far it has worked really good. It gives me a piece of mind while towing.

by:

Intermittent connection issues.

by:

Works as advertised. I bought the remote monitor to use when towing my fifth wheel.

by:

My RV came pre-wired so I didn't need the dock . easy to add to my one control app .Had a minor issue getting the sensors to "found " in the app ,but work great so far

by:

Confusing initial setup with smartphone. Smartphone interface is clunky and requires location services to read tire oressure. Basically the sensors work great and the app sucks.

by:

One year later and it still works. I have a 26 foot dual axle trailer and no issues with bluetooth connection. Interface is simple and you can set tolerance levels as you would expect.

by:

I followed the instructions to the letter. The installation went just as described in the instruction / installation manual. We have not yet used them in actual towing / traveling; but will later this week.

Two suggestions:
1) Sell a package with an odd number of sensors; one for each tire and one for the spare tire. Or in the alternative sell single sensors so I can purchase just one more for the spare tire.
2) Modify the smart phone app to work with CarPlay ... so I can see the tire pressure on my dash display as well as my phone.

  • Is It Normal For A Lippert Tire Linc Repeater Dock To Already Be Installed On A New Motorhome
Lippert is deeply in the pockets of pretty much every trailer/motorhome manufacturer so they most likely installed the repeater block so that you'd be more inclined to purchase their sensors over other brands. The Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster for RVs and Trailers # LC37VR is also compatible with Lippert's OneControl systems so it could also have been installed to match up that system if you have a OneControl touch screen. If you had the repeater as well as the charging...

  • What Is Needed To Complete Trailer Prepped with Lippert Tire Linc
It looks like trailers that come prepped with the Lippert Tire Linc have the repeater installed but not the sensors so in which case you can purchase the sensors separately using the Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS part # LC97VR which are sold in pairs. This would then give you the complete kit which is the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster part # LC37VR.

  • Are There Additional Sensors For The Tire Linc TPMS LC37VR
You can absolutely get additional sensors to add onto the four that come with the Tire Linc TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster - Bluetooth - 4 Tire Sensors # LC37VR. A single sensor by itself isn't sold, so you would need to get a pair, so you'd have an extra one on hand just in case. • Does Tire Linc Pre of Keystone RV Actually Come with Anything
Hey Bob, I checked with Keystone and the Tire Linc Prep oddly enough doesn't really come with anything and essentially you need to buy the kit part # LC37VR. This includes 4 sensors but if you needed more you could order the part # LC97VR for an additional two.

  • Is Lippert LC37VR Tire Link TPMS System Compatible with OEM Sensors on 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500
The # LC37VR TPMS booster isn't meant to work with an OEM TPMS system, but you could use 4 additional sensors which would be two sets of # LC97VR on the your truck's valve stems, and you'd be able to use your smart phone to observe the tire pressures/temperatures from the tow vehicle and trailer through your phone. I've linked to an install/demonstration video featuring the # LC37VR TPMS system.

  • Information And Specifications On Tire Linc TPMS For RVs And Trailers
My contact at Lippert was able to give me some information regarding the Tire Linc TPMS # LC37VR. The size of the sensor is fairly small, measuring about 3/4" thick and weighing 11 grams each. The battery life will depend on how much the system is used, but generally the batteries last 1-2 years. Set-up time is minimal; the sensors simply screw onto the valve stem and the signal booster will be wired up to 12 volts. The maximum range of communication is 33 feet, however, Lippert recommends...
