Product is easy to use and apply. My Ford Explorer (08) has a poorly designed retaining brackets for the brake pads. After a month with new pads the fronts start to rattle. So I purchased this product and applied to the outside of the caliper and just a bit on the edge of the piston. I hope this prevents the pads from rattling as I just completed the work.

Worked perfectly. I was able to do 2.5 complete brake jobs with 1 stick. I may have went a little heavy on the amount that I applied, but I definitely won’t do another brake job without using this! I Highly recommend!

A lubricant would create less friction and reduce braking power. I have included a link to the right that explains more about the chemical makeup of this product. It does not have a temperature rating.
