Now, this part will replace the communication cable, which will connect the wall control panel to your MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus roof vent. This cable is a flat 8 wire RJ45 data cable. It is designed to work with aftermarket and OEM models.

Now, the part numbers of the models that this cable will work with are listed on the product page of this part number. As we've mentioned, the length on this cable is 20 feet. A 4-wire phone cable is not something that we are aware can be used instead of the Replacement Control Cable for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent Wall Control Panel # MA69FR. This is what you would need as opposed to a phone cable for models 00-04500K, 00-04700K, 00-04800K, 00-04900K, 00-07000K, 00-07500K, 00-08500K, 00-08700K, and 00-08900K.

Cable to Use with MaxxFan Replacement Wall Control Panel # MA59FR
You can use an RJ11 cable with the # MA59FR but some of the functions might not work properly. We've found that sometimes some of the functions will work backwards. What your best option would be is the communication cable part # MA69FR.

How to Connect Wall Control Panel # MA59FR to the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K
In order to connect the Wall Control Panel # MA59FR to your MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K, you need the MaxxAir RV Wall Control Communication Cable # MA69FR. This part is not included with the roof vent or the wall control panel, so you will have to get that part separately. Check out the videos linked below for more details.

Wall Control Option for Maxxair 7500K or 7000k Roof Vent
Both the # MA00-07500K and the # MA00-07000K can be used with a wall control setup but they only come with a remote control. So for either you'd also need the wall controller # MA59FR. With this installed you'd be able to control the fan with all three methods. Roof, remote, and wall controls. The only difference between the two models is the color of the lid. White will block all light and smoked will allow some light to pass through.
