How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these MORryde VESA mounting plates. These are going to let you adapt your television to a larger TV mounting bracket, so whether you are wanting to put your TV on a bracket that swings down, or is motorized and comes up from behind a cabinet or something like that, if your TV is just a little bit too small, the VESA mounting points are too small for that mounting bracket, this is gonna be a great kit to allow you to adapt to that larger pattern. So these are going to fit onto your television with a VESA pattern of 100 millimeters by 100 millimeters, 200 by 200, or 200 by 400. And then it will allow you to mount onto a mounting bracket of 200 by 400, 300 by 300, or 400 by 400. So, it's going to take that smaller pattern and adapt it to that larger bracket.
You can see they are going to give you four of these plates and then the hardware that you're gonna need not only to attach these plates to your television, but then to attach the television and the plates to your mounting bracket. So, great option for you if that VESA pattern on your TV is just a little bit too small for the mounting bracket that you're wanting to use in your RV. If you have a front living 5th wheel with the motorized hideaway 200mmx200mm tv mount, and your tv mounting pattern is 300x400mm or 400x400mm this works great. In my case, my 55" tv had a 300x400mm pattern.
