The Channel Loader is an incredibly simple to use kayak loader that works with nearly any vehicle and fits most boat hull configurations. The design includes an extra tall frame that reaches over most spoilers, and a narrow footprint to allow loading of 2 kayaks on the vehicle's rooftop. Other features include an over-sized 10" wide conical roller to improve boat control and a 3-position adjustment system to match any angular loading requirement. The heavy-duty toggle activated vacuum cups have non-marking pads that protect the vehicle's sheet metal from abrasion. Stores in the trunk or hatch when not in use. This roller works great and is a lifesaver when getting kayaks up on the roof of our SUV. It may take a few tries to get the suction cups to attach due to the curvature of the back window, but when its on correctly, it holds firm.
Easy to fit and use, should protect our car and our kayaks from inadvertent damage.

I was concerned that the suction cups would not hold on my slightly curved back window (Volvo xc70), but they worked great. Used to load a 100 pound 20 foot kayak onto roof racks. Roller works smoothly. Just what I needed to clear the rear gate spoiler.
These work perfectly to get this 65 year old woman’s Hobie Kayak on top of her Outback, all by herself!!

The Malone load assist works really well. I wasn't sure untilI tried it - I am 71 and wrestling my rowing scull to the car top carrier is getting more challenging each year. Worked like a charm - dead simple.
Great product. I found that if you drive off with it still attached to your car window, it will still be there when you stop. Works well with even a whitewater boat, but because of the flatter bottom youjust have to be careful keeping on center when loading/unloading. I like it so much, I just bought a 2nd one.
