The new 78" load bars fit perfectly. Easy install and the extra width is great for 2 Malone Mega wings to fit 2 Old Town 120s. Shipping was faster than anticipated and everything arrived safe.

This bar fits better on my trailer. It’s longer so kayaks have more space. It’s larger with size keeps the J hooks more secure too. It was easy to install myself, and I’m 74 yo woman. E trailer delivers

The product was just what I ordered. I'm expanding my kayak trailer to hold up to 4, so I ordered wider cross bars and another carrier. A little frustrating to find it was not really in stock, however, communication from the etrailer team was outstanding.

He said that longer top crossbars will lead to instability on the trailer and actually wouldn't be DOT compliant. Using the 50" bars included with the kit is the only option for adding that 2nd tier. The bars on the XtraLight Trailer are almost 5 feet and I know Hobies can be over 2 feet wide so If you are trying to carry the Hobies flat and side by side they may not fit especially with the W style Hobie cradle....
