Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the replacement trailer jack for our MegaSport and MicroSport trailers. This is going to be an exact replacement from what comes with your kit initially so whether you're having issues with your jack stand or you just decide it's time to get another one. We're going to have everything we need, all the mounting hardware, our crank and our wheel that comes in the kit.All we need for this installation is a 17 millimeter wrench for this side and we are going to need a deep well 17 millimeter socket for the other side. There's going to be four different points.

One, two three, four. That's basically all you need. We are going to get the same plastic wheel that comes with our original for our trailer. It's going to be the same on the replacement. We are going to have a steel construction all the way up, even our mounting hardware and it does have a nice coating on it to help resist against rust and corrosion.

We're going to get a plastic knob. Also, if we wanted to rotate this up, put it on jack stand, we can actually just pull this spring, the lever here and we're going to be able to rotate it just like we did on our normal one. Again, it's going to be the exact replacement.Let's take it off the jack stand here and get some measurements. With this jack, as small as we can get it, we're going to measure from the bottom of the wheel to the point at which our coupler starts. This is going to be pretty much where it's going to be sitting when it's sitting on your ball.

From the bottom to that point there is going to be about a foot and a half. Let's go ahead and jack this thing all the way up. Actually, it's really easy. Yeah, we don't have a whole lot of gear on this thing, but I'm not a fan of those jacks. It takes a lot of effort to get all the way jacked up.

This way I can do it really quick.All right, so that's pretty much all the way up. We'll do that same exact measurement. We'll go from the bottom of our wheel. It's where a coupler starts. Well, that's going to be about 22 and a half inches. This replacement jack will have the same exact weight ratings as the previous one we're replacing. About a thousand pounds, you'll get out of this guy. We be able to put it on multiple trailers as well to have a tongue like this and we just need to make sure we stay within the four and a quarter inches tall and about four inches wide.Whether you're replacing your trailer jack on your Micro or MegaSport, or you just like this jack and you're putting on another trailer that you may have, it's definitely going to get the job done.
