Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Fishing Rod Storage Tube for Malone MegaSport Kayak Trailer, part number MPG541. Don't forget to bring along your favorite fishing rods on your trip. This will allow you to have six saltwater extra long fishing rods, but will also accommodate many other sized rods. This lockable tube attaches to your second tier load-bar add-on for your Malone MegaSport Trailer. The tube is expandable to accommodate rods up to eight and a half feet in length. Once you've extended it appropriately for your rods, simply slide the pin in to lock it into place.There's 11 points of adjustability along the tube.
After you close it up, it can be locked with a padlock, such as the one found on e-trailer.com part number 131D. Everything you need to install it is included. You simply attach the U-bolts and slide it into place and snug it down. The tube also doubles as a carrying case. Easy-grip handle, just walk right on down to the dock..

The tube itself is of good quality for the price but the hardware to mount it on my Malone megasport kayak trailer does not work well on the 2nd tier portion of it. It shifts going down the road unless you over tighten it which then leads to the storage tube being crushed and for that reason I give it one star.

I don’t have it currently setup but can get to it this weekend. The round brackets that came with it and the angled metal pieces that sat on it would slide going down the road side to side unless overly tightened down which then dig into the tube itself
