Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Replacement Steel Support Arms for your Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier. It says for a quantity of two support arms. Now this part here will replace the support arms for your Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier. These are designed as a replacement for support arms on the models' MNT34FR, MNT44FR, MNT54FR, and the MNT64FR. Now I did wanna pop up an insert to show you that's what that cargo carrier looked like.
And you can see underneath these are the cargo arms. So these will replace if you have any that are damaged or missing anything. Now they do actually, these can also be added to existing arms on the models MNT34FR and the MNT54FR to upgrade the weight capacity from 200 pounds up to 400 pounds. Now these are a durable steel construction. They do resist rust and corrosion.
They are a nice simple bolt-on installation, comes with all the mounting hardware you need. Comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all goes together and how it installs. These parts are made in the USA. Again, it's for a quantity of two support arms. These do fit the square RV bumpers in the size 4" bumper, 4-1/2", 5-5/16", and 6", and they'll fit a rectangular RV bumper that's four to six inches tall and two to six inches deep.
Overall dimension on one of these arms 20-1/4" long, 1-5/8" wide and at the tallest points about 4-5/8" tall. Total weight on both of these together is about eight pounds. We were using a hitch mounted carrier to carry our generator. But there was so much movement even with shims I was concerned that the generator would be damaged, and or grow legs and walk away! Installed four of these Mount-n-Lock brackets and the affiliated SafetyStruts. Additionally, welded a piece of square tubular steel between the bumper and the top of the receiver hitch. Purchased a lockable Buyers under-bed utility box normally used on commercial trucks a trailers to contain the generator. Mounted the box on the brackets and we now have a solid and enclosed means to transport our Champion 4500 dual fuel generator.
