Wiring is NOT conventional..
None of the harness wires matched up to the flat 4 wiring.
Red was yellow green was brown etc.
And wiring or color ceding was included with the 7 pin harness

My boat is garage kept when not in use however, after 29 years it was time to replace the trailering wiring with a new wishbone harness. Very easy to do and no more issues with lights not working. Good product at a reasonable price.

Great product! My right brake/turn signal stopped working on my trailer, so I purchased a new ST70RB 6-1/2" oval trailer light, along with the wiring plug and grommet, installed them in about 30 min, and it works great! The package arrived quickly and was packed nicely. I found out my fuse was blown on my 2016 Traverse for the right trailer stop/turn signal, but that was most likely from the old light which I think was leaking. I didn't know there was a fuse just for that so I learned something new. I will definitely purchase trailer products again from etrailer.com!

With the trailer lights you really need this PIG TAIL. You can make it work, but this is so much easier and is water proof.
Picture is back side of the panel where the PIG TAIL is sticking threw. This will get coated with under coating when it all done.

I really like the bright back up lights. It does take a little extra work for the back up lights. - Sorry this pic doesn't show the backup/stop lights but this is the great little chuckwagon we put them on.

Which is longer than I would have liked. I’ve done buddies with e-trailer many times so this was unusual compared to past orders. Also, when I ordered the optronics tail lights for my trailer I didn’t know they take a special
Pigtail (sold separately) to hook them to the trailer wires. Im a total novice at this stuff so it might be helpful to
Add a note about needing a special pigtail to the description of the tail lights.

LED lights are the way to go. The reflective marker lights are great for times when the lights aren't on yet headlights will reflect off them letting the driver know there is something there. The only thing would be better on these lights would be a better ground.

Pretty simple to get on etrailer. Try finding this socketed connector anywhere else without having to buy the entire enclosure. This is just one of about 24 items I have purchased from etrailer.com and even when i screw up they get me right.
They seem like very nice folks who care that you get what you need.

I ordered the STL101RB Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn, Backup - LED to replace the standard tail lights on my Yamah Drive G19 golf cart. They replaced to stock ones perfectly as a neat way to add a backup lights for a custom feature. The backups led are actuated by the reverse switch on the dash.
It should be noted that the ground terminal on the two wire pigtail connection is not wired internally to the backup LEDs. They rely on the ground supplied by the three wire pigtail. Not a big deal, but worth noting. It throws a curve when bench testing.
These lamps add a nice custom touch!

Used with Optronics Turn/Tail/Stop LED assembly: Not really much to say about a plug except that this one does what it should and has had no comebacks to spoil the project. Perfect pin alignment with firm pin fit to light assembly. Molded rubber plug body fits snugly into light housing but is easy to grasp and remove when necessary - a good balance of 'in forever' but 'removable if you need to'. No evidence of hardening, cracking, or deterioration of plug body.

I replaced the conventional lamps in my 1990 Peterbilt Midranger box truck. The change out was easy. The previous lamps were troublesome because of vibration, moisture / road salt, causing them to not light. I used these pigtails to plug into the LED lamps I purchased from eTrailer, to easily install the new lamps, splicing into the existing wiring harness in the truck. The thing to know, is the unique color coding: White is Ground, and has a convenient lug on it to attach under one of the mounting screws. Red is for the stop/turn signal, and Black is for tail lights.
