Black Bracket and Single Wire Plug for Thin-Line Series Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Lights
This kit combines a black molded ABS, surface mount bracket and a molded plastic, single-wire plug for use with the MC65 Series lights. The bracket and plug unit measures 4-1/16" long x 1-1/16" wide x 1/2"D, with a molded lead wire attached. The light contains a single lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting hardware.

I reviewed this order earlier indicating that the light I received was not the same as the one I ordered from.
However, after several emails back & forth with Mr. Breedlove at Etrailer, he was able to provide an explanation for the difference. The manufacturer upgraded the light to a LED which required a different lens than I had on the trailer.
I have to admit the LED light is much brighter than the incandescent one on the trailer.
I'm impressed with the dedication & perseverance demonstrated to me to help resolve the problem. For that they earned my trust and my business.

While the Optronics products are excellent quality, and I’ve had great luck with them in the past, the same cannot be said for etrailer’s packaging. The lights were literally thrown into the box an a piece of crumpled paper placed above them. See photos. Result? Lots of scratched lenses. I didn’t buy this odd the discount rack. I expect better from etrailer. This isn’t the way they typically package things.

I purchased these same lights in 2011 from etrailer. One of those lights failed and I was thankful they are still available. Nice lights. I purchased a few extra and extra bases.. just in case!

I ordered four A65PB black brackets with single wire plugs as spares for the running lights on my Cargo Mate trailer. They arrived packaged well and in perfect shape. I have already had to use one to replace a broken bracket. I am always leery of so called "suitable replacement" part numbers but these brackets are a perfect replacement for the brackets on my cargo trailer. They seem to made well and the one I installed operates the running light perfectly. I would recommend these brackets to anyone.

These replacements look and feel more substantial than the brackets that came with the trailer. Being exposed all the time to all weather conditions, this is important.

I bought two of these to go along with the red/amber lenses that fit these. My snowmobile trailer fender lights (a different brand) have been a problem about every 3 years, so hopefully these stand up to New York winters. These are a more sturdy looking design than the last ones, and need to be screwed to the fender for ground. This is different than my old ones which used a ground wire running along with the positive, so hopefully that doesn't become an issue as the mounting screws get corroded due to salt spray. I considered this before purchasing, and only time will tell how well they hold up. As always, thanks for the great products, great prices and excellent customer service!

The product was what I was looking for, but it took me some time to locate it on the website. I had to measure and double check a few times to make sure it was the same as the parts I was replacing.
Also, there are two kinds of bases. One attaches to metal panels and grounds through the trailer body. But for the lights on the round fiberglass nose, the base plate with a ground wire is required. I learned this after I made my first purchase and had to buy 5 more bases.
Lastly, you don't want to over tighten the bases to the trailer body. At best they will twist and make it difficult to snap the bulb in, at worst you will crack the base, ask me how I learned that..
The difference in the grounding designs cold have been better explained in the description.

Changing out your # MC65RB incandescent lights for new # MCL75RB lights will simply require removing the existing light and snapping a new light into the same housing.
