Today we're gonna take a look at the Right Angle Two-wire Pigtail for Peterson trailer lights. This is going to be a two-pronged PL10 plug with a 10 and 1/2-inch lead. This is going to allow you to plug into your Peterson lights. It's designed specifically for back up and utility lights. It has that nice right angle design so that our wiring is gonna be coming straight back from our light. It's gonna allow us to run that wiring down and get everything connected without having to bend our wires out of the way.I've got one of our Peterson lights, just to show you a demonstration of how that's going to fit in place. This is going to be the M821C-7 light that is available here at etrailer.com.
This also is gonna work for the M826C-7. Both of those, again, available here at etrailer.com.We'll just line up our plugs there and pop that into position. It's gonna seat down in place, and then we'll have our red wire for power, white wire for ground. I'll connect those to my power source here so we can demonstrate that light working. So you can see, it's gonna give us all our connections that we need for that light to work properly. This does have a pre-installed ring terminal on the end there, for our ground.
That's gonna be Number 10 ring terminal. You can see it's already crimped in place there. To remove our wiring from the back, it has some little tabs on either side, to make it a little easier to pry that off. Just pull that, and it should separate just fine. Now it's never a bad idea to put a little dielectric grease on those terminals to help maintain that connection, keep any corrosion from building up inside your wires or inside your light. You can find dielectric grease, as well, here at etrailer.com.
And our length of wire, again, is going to be 10 and 1/2 inches, going from our plug, so you can see we get a full 10 and 1/2 inches of wire coming off that plug there.Male, two-prong, PL10 molded plastic plug. This end just plugs right in to your light. That's gonna do it for a look at the Right Angle Two-wire Pigtail for Peterson trailer lights, with a two-prong PL10 plug and a 10 and 1/2 inch wire lead.
