Today we're taking a look at a Peterson Rubber Grommet for Trailer Lights. This black, PVC grommet flush mounts a four inch to four and one quarter inch diameter round style trailer light and a four and a half inch diameter mount hole on your trailer.This can be used with 415, 417, 426 or 427 Peterson Series Lights. It works with other lights as well and it also provides additional shock absorbency to the light. So, for instance, I do have a light right here and if we measure edge to edge on this unit, it measures four and one quarter inches in diameter but it fits perfectly in this grommet. So what you would do, is you would take this grommet, simply place it around the light. It kind of snaps into place so it does hold it firmly in position.

You still have the open-backed design so that way you can gain access to the port or to the wiring and this would actually secure inside a four and a half inch diameter mount hole on your trailer or along your truck or trailer frame.So if we measured outside edge to outside edge right there, you can see, it's where we get that four and half inch measurement from. It kind of press and fits together in there.
