This universal, right-angle bracket is designed for mounting the Pollak 7- and 9-pole trailer connectors to your towing vehicle. Black, zinc-plated bracket mounts under rear bumper of truck or SUV. Mounting hardware included.Mounting bracket is really to thin and flimsy. Should be a lot thicker material. You have to hold on to the bracket and plug so you can plug your lights in from your trailer because it will bend backwards!!
I thought it would mount to the trailer hitch. I guess I misread the description. I mounted the bracket to the bumpe.
Easy to install, I didn't use the two self-tapping screws, the tow hitch already had a plate on it to attach the mounting bracket. It would have been nice if they would have included two small bolts with washers and nuts to attach.
Missed 2 screws when sent to us so we have 4 of 6. Only got black screws
Great product with easy installation
It looks great.

OK
The tow package I purchased last year, fits great and installed perfectly. It works perfectly with my electronic under-dash brake controller.
The kit came with everything that I needed and instructions were easy to read I had the entire kit installed in about 40 minutes it's work Flawless for me for over a year and I tow a variety of trailers the plug is never failed due to workmanship it is still water tight.
The receiver cap spring still has excellent tension to help hold the plug into place, the only gripe I have is that I should have installed stainless mounting screwswhen I installed the kit because the mounting starting are starting to rust a little, but that's my oversight and is nothing to do with the kit and its ability to provide flawless service.
I highly recommend this product if you're like me and was looking for an oem Plug and Play setup!
5 stars!
My F150 had an OEM 4 pin trailer plug and hitch.
The 118242 - 7 pin connector with wiring harness is the ticket. The hardest part of the install was dropping the spare tire. The plugs connect directly to the factory plugs and the harness length is the correct length.
The 3035-P brake controller connector harness was just as easy. Plugs right in to the OEM plug next to the ECM connector and the other end into the brake controller.
The PK12711U-26 - 7 pin bracket and hardware kit fastens directly the OEM bracket that is on the hitch. My truck had an OEM 4 pin trailer towing set up with the hitch. The OEM hitch had the bracket welded on it to attach the 7 pin mounting bracket to it.
These kits make this install very easy and professional looking.
If I have one complaint, the hardware kit to attach the 7 pin connector bracket is set up to fasten the bracket directly to the bumper with 2 - self tapping screws provided in the kit. The kit also includes 4 #12 machine screws with toothed washer nuts to attached the 7 pin connector to the bracket. This is fine if your truck hitch doesn't have an attaching bracket welded to it. The kit should included in it 6 #12 machine screws and nuts along with the 2 self tapping screws. Since my OEM hitch actually had a bracket welded to it to attach the 7 pin bracket to it, I had to use two other #12 screws and nuts to attach the 7 pin bracket to the OEM bracket on the hitch. Not a big deal, just a thought.
It took me about 2 hours, start to finish to install the 7 pin connector, trailer controller, and add the two relays in the OEM relay/fuse box under the hood.
I highly recommend these kits.
It was suggested I purchase this bracket to assist in mounting my 7-way trailer harness (item #118253) to my 2010 Honda pilot. When I tried to attach the bracket underneath and behind the bumper, I discovered it was too tall and very difficult to fit where it was required. I also found that the bracket is a 90-degree bend and will not go flush against the bumper wall. The bumper wall runs at an angle and you would need a bracket with an approx 35-degree angle to fit flush against the bumper, that's important if you want a professional clean looking mounting of the trailer harness (7- way insert) like I installed (see attached pics). So forget this bracket, Just save your money and mount onto the bumper wall, plenty thickness and you get a clean look...Maybe one day they will make the proper bracket for such an installation...
Simple and easy. I had to make modifications to the trim but nothing crazy
Bought for a 2018 Nissan Frontier. Fit the wire plug perfectly and the Screws and nuts to secure the plug to the bracket were fine. The two screws to attach the bracket to the vehicle were way too small to use. They wouldn't work on the mounting tab on the Draw-Tite hitch or the factory holes under the bumper. I suppose if your creating new holes they would be okay. Appears to be a quality piece and I'm very satisfied with it.
Works great if you pay attention and mount it properly the first time, lol. No issues with the product at all.
This worked ok for me on my trailer light install, but after a year the black screws that came with the kit are rusting badly. I didn't use the silver screws that came with the kit, needed longer ones, so can't say how they would hold-up......

RUST on screws is still an issue on screws. I painted them a few times with black spray Rust-Oleum....
Attached it to the bottom valence, which is plastic, so I'll have to watch for it getting loose. The product worked great.
Works as it should. when it was shipped I was put in the box with the hitch receiver and got crushed. the small screws were missing probable from the box getting destroyed. I made it work but was disappointed
Although this bracket comes with tapping screws to mount to a metal undersurface structure, it only has 4 screws for the 7 point hitch device to screw into it and no additional screws to mount to the hitch itself. It should come with 6 locking screws for that purpose. I had to use 2 to mount it to the hitch and 2 to mount the 7 point hitch device into the bracket, leaving 2 spots open. I went to my local hardware store and autozone and couldn’t find these exact screws and etrailer doesn’t sell them as a separate order.
Had to get bolts and nuts to mount it, supplied screws were to small
Great product and great price! No issues since installing on my 2022 Buick Enclave!
Made a good location and solid mount for the wiring for my trailer harness.
Perfect fit
Had to make a few adjustments but worked on my 2021 Hyundai Palisade
Product went together as described and when attached to the short no drill mount bracket provided a sturdy mount for the 7way plug.
Just the right part for the job! Perfect fit for my 7-way harness and on my draw-tite hitch!
Good, convenient fit
None of the hardware displayed in the picture was included with the bracket. I found the needed hardware in my shop.
