After ordering and receiving this item I didn't like the primitive look, function, and exposed fit. Also, my opinion: It should not be available without a terminal cover. I instead went with waterproof 30amp blade fuse holders (see picture, as installed in a 2021 Subaru Outback Onyx XT). In addition to the clean, professional look, I can easily remove the fuses to disconnect power when necessary.
Perfect fit for my application. Curt brake controller, extra sheathed wire, breaker and pigtail! Etrailer videos are a great help for any dyi buyer.
Ended up not needing this. But keeping it with the spare trailer stuff. Easy to change and I’ve learned you’ll never know when you’ll need one.
