This converter charger converts AC shore power into DC power and charges your battery bank. The converter uses a high voltage output to provide the proper charging profile for lithium batteries. It upgrades the stock converter in your Progressive Dynamics 75-amp 4500 Series RV Power Control Center.
Designed for Lithium Batteries
Built for lithium batteries, this unit uses a higher output voltage than a typical converter charger, which provides a fast, complete charge. The charger also extends battery life since it utilizes the appropriate charging profile. Additionally, it's compatible with your battery's internal Battery Management System (BMS), which helps manage charging by monitoring the battery state and balancing cell voltage.
Safety Features
The system includes a number of safety features. It has a reverse polarity protection that will protect the converter if the battery is hooked up incorrectly. Additionally, the unit includes protection for overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent, which can damage your equipment, as well as the converter. The built-in cooling fan also removes excess heat from the unit. The fan speed is proportional to the internal temperature of the converter, so when the power demand is low, the fan will operate quietly.

Installed a 200 amp 12.8 volt Lithium Iron Phosphate battery and needed a new converter to fully charge to 14.6 volts. This Replacement Lithium Converter fit the bill and only took about 15 minutes to install.

I have been working with my RV dealer for over a week to try and get this part. I finally realized I was not a priority to them and ordered the part from etrailer. I received it in three days, installed it, works great. Finally my dealer texted me said the found the part and gave me the pries. It was almost double of what I paid to etrailer.

I've been full timing with this converter and 4 x 100Ah Battle Born batteries since August 2020. It keeps the batteries at a constant 14.6V when connected to shore power and recharges them quickly whenever the batteries are discharged, as they were when we experienced a week of no power during the great Texas freeze of 2021! A great upgrade to the PD distribution panel - it was a straightforward install.
