The website had all the info needed to make an accurate and confident decision. The installation instructions were precise and easy to follow. Some of the print was small for these old eyes but it was easy to pull a pdf copy and expand the print. Problem solved. This is my second purchase and I have been very pleased both times.
This converter is excellent, as is the customer service. I had some confusion about the wiring, which the etrailer tech was not able to address. He gave me the manufacturer contact, who spotted my problem from a quick picture of my install. With that corrected, the unit has been running without issue for over a month now. I replaced a 32-year-old converter and the first thing I noticed is that the lights have gone from dim/depressing to bright and cheery. I'm so glad I bought this unit from etrailer rather than the one made in China from [online].

After one year, the unit continues to perform perfectly. I’ve no issues.
Instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Also, I did not need any additional help from customer service. Great product, just installed today and seems to be charging up my batteries appropriately. Thanks etrailer !

I am happily giving the replacement power converter section from etrailer.com a 5-Star excellent rating. The original power converter in our 1999 RV was in need of replacement (Yes - should have done it a long time ago). At etrailer.com I was able to find the needed replacement section. The unit arrived well packaged accompanied with clear and concise instructions for removal of the old and installation of the new. When ordering the unit, customer service (Will), was knowledgeable and courteous and assured me that I could call with questions if needed during the replacement work.

Well I received the new unit, shipping was fast and I am remote. I installed the new unit in under 3 hours. I turned it on and nothing started on fire, YaY! Everything works now in the RV!
This was a replacement for the inverter in a 1998 LazyDaze RV.
I wished there was some instructional video on how to wire up the new power converter, otherwise it’s a great inverter so far
I had a circuit board issue with my 6345 so it was a quick 6 wire swap and a fuse replacement
I have very little experience with electrical systems. I was able to remove my old charger/converter and install this one mostly by the directions. I did call the manufacturer and they answered an installation question I had very promptly.
So far everything works great again!
Was very easy to swap out with the old one. Properly charges the house batteries now.
I ordered a replacement converter (Item PD4645V) to replace the original one that was no longer charging the batteries properly. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged, so arrived in good shape.
We didn't realize that the converter had failed at first. We were gone for a month and came back to find that the refrigerator was not working. We had to clean out the moldy messy remains of the food we had left in the freezer. and were about ready to replace the refrigerator, but noticed that the 12 volt lighting system did not work. We discovered that the 12 volt batteries were dead, so we replaced them.
The refrigerator worked for a while, then quit. That led us to check the charging voltage, and found that the converter was not working.
After some evaluation, we found that the refrigerator needs 12 volt power to run, and this comes from batteries or the converter.
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that, even though I'm an electrical engineer, it took a while to figure out what was going on.
Replacing the converter solved the problem, and was much less expensive and easier than replacing the refrigerator. I suspect that many people have gone to the trouble of replacing the refrigerator before finding out that the problem was actually the 12 volt converter that had failed, not the refrigerator.
The instructions were great, and clearly showed how to remove the old unit and install the new one.
I am happy with the new converter, which has been running fine for the past 4 months. I haven't had it long enough to check to see if it prolongs the life of our new batteries. However, I've found that the multi-stage charging process the new converter uses is an improvement on older fixed voltage battery chargers/converters.
By the way, I tried getting by "on the cheap" so to speak, by trying to use an inexpensive 10 amp "smart" battery charger to keep the 12 volt system going. However, It couldn't keep up with the power draw that the refrigerator and other appliances needed, even though nobody was staying there.

After more than a year of continuous use, the converter is still working fine, and keeping the batteries in good shape. Im very happy with it.

Works great. It took care of our clicking refig problem. Very difficult install as our fuse wires and negative battery were short. Took both of us 5 hours as inexperienced installers. Saved us lots of money for labor though. Worth the struggle.
The Progressive Dynamics Replacement works great and did not take very long to replace, my brother-in-law had gotten one and told me about it and was pleased with it and now so am I with mine
Well, the unit only lasted 15 months before a short circuit developed on the converter board. worked fine every time I used it and installation instructions adequate but after parking RV for a couple weeks I came back to this unit shorting out on the board. I'm writing this review because Progressive Dynamics has been EXCELLENT to deal with in this warranty matter but even if out of warranty I fully believe this company would assist you. Very refreshing to deal with a company that actually contacts you back in a timely manner and rectifies the problem.
I just hope it works.
The delivery person threw the box over my back fence and the unit is only single boxed, no packing.
One corner was slightly bent . . . the electronics and PC Board look fine.
