Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, We're gonna take a look at the Redarc solar panel side mounts for a quantity of two. Now this is a modern solar panel mounting solution for your RV roof. This side mount is designed to attach a single or a multiple solar panel to your RV or boat without the need for drilling. Helps maintain seal integrity.
These side mounts are designed to work with corner mounts to attach your Redarc solar panel to the RV or your boat. Now the corner mount, I happened to pull one just to show you what it looks like. This is a part number RED79VR. And again, we sell them separately. I am gonna show you here in a minute, how they work with the side mounts.
Now these mounts are nice, aesthetically pleasing. There's no sharp edges on them and they have a nice glossy white finish to them. They are a durable ABS molded plastic construction. They resist impact, scratches, and UV rays. And it can be mounted with a silicone adhesive or common fasteners, or a combination of both.
Gonna zoom back out and I wanted to show you, I happened to pull a small solar panel that you might be installing onto your roof or your boat. And when you go to install it, you can take your side mounts, line it up, and you can see how they fit exactly to the solar panel itself. Let me zoom in again, show you on the side here. You can see how they're made with the correct height They do curve. Gives it a nice look.
And as I mentioned, we said about using it with the corner mount. You can see the corner mount slides right into place on the corner and would hold the corners in place. So you'd want to do four of the corner mounts and then either two or four of the side mounts to hold it into place. And you can see on the mound itself, there's this recessed area that'd allow you to use your fasteners when you go to attach your solar panel to the mount itself. I do wanna give you some dimensions on this. Again, this is for a quantity of two side mounts. Dimensions on this, the overall length from one end to the other, is right at seven and one eighth inches. The width is gonna be two measurements, this width, and then the widest point. So this width is going to be right at three and three quarter inches. And at the widest area, it'll be right at five inches. And the height on it is gonna be right at two and a half inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the Redarc solar panel side mounts for a quantity of two..

Side mounts work with corner mounts (RED79VR - sold separately) to attach your Redarc solar panel to a RV or boat. Attach mount to surface using a silicon adhesive or common fasteners. These solar panel mounts were the best that I could find on the market. All of the images aligned with the actual product that I received. There’s quite a bit of plastic material that makes surface contact with the top of the roof of my fiberglass RV.
The amounts are very robust. When I bought them, they were definitely not a good value, they were very high priced. I see there is a sale on them at 40% discount right now.
I used 3M 5200 adhesive to secure them to the roof. Then, I used eternal bond tape as well. I used Stainless steel screws to secure the panels to the mounts.
Thanks,
