Mike Y - 09/25/2018I have a older boat trailer that has been in salt water and the lug bolts were rusted. I had to change one tire and decided to replace all the lug bolts. I didn't think lug bolts were so hard to find. The coating appears to be Zinc Dichromate. I hope it will stand up to salt water better than the old ones. I have 5 lug per wheel and the bolts come in packs of 4. Luckily it is a tandem axle and ordering 5 packs worked out great.
The weather has improved and we can finally work on the trailer. We did an on line search for the best price and quality for parts to bring our trailer back to working order. We found the parts needed to replace old retired fenders, wheels, etc and the company we ordered from for the first order was etrailer. Exactly what I needed. Was told by a trailer place one day these aren't made anymore because they tend to back out (but have yet to have loose ones). Not sure why I didn't even think about etrailer.com If it's not here, then it's probably NOT available anywhere. Got them in the mail quickly and put them on my horse trailer right away. Had 4 of 5 in on each of all 4 wheels before. Not the safest, but still held the wheel on just fine.
