Brackets and hardware work with Reese 10-bolt base rails (sold separately) to install your fifth-wheel trailer hitch.

The universal 5th wheel mount brackets worked flawlessly on my 1995 Chevy.

Received promptly in good condition . Easy install

Product working out good no issues.

I purchased the Reese Universal Installation kit for installing a pickup bed hitch for a 5th wheel camper. The installation went well and I found that I was thankful for the various extra pieces that were provided to allow options for different ways to do the installation. The quality and strength were very good. I'm happy to have purchased this kit.

I was moving my 5th wheel hitch from a 2005 Dodge to 2015 Ford. The rail mounting kit for the Ford was complete and installation went smoothly. The kit could use a couple more spacers but it was not a problem as I reused spacers from the Dodge.

This kit works well for transfering existing hitch and rails to new/used vehicle.

Great, Ill be buying another one within a year for a newer truck.

Everything was fine, ended up selling Trailer, fifth wheel and Kit shortly after I ordered it. I was very happy with the product, the communication and the receiving from your company. I will be ordering from you again in the near future.

Typed into Google the parts I needed to install our 5th wheel hitch...
First up was etrailer...They had the exact part shown in the installation manual for our brand and they shipped out the next day...Wonderful to have a company that has all the parts you need for anything!

Very easy install.
I had zero experience
with this type of install, or fifth wheels in general. I was able to mount my used fifth wheel using this mounting kit on my 97 f250 ccsb, alone in about three hours, without any help or problems.

Purchased the kit for install on my 1986 Ford F-250.

Installer tells me that all included items (hardware, instructions) were as they should be.

Only hiccup was that the FORWARD brackets had to be welded vice bolted, due to the location of the rear uppoer shock tower on the truck. Took him some time, but job looks good, and we'll be testing it today on an hour-long drive to our new spot for the next several months. After that, who knows where life might take us!! Looking forward to seeing some of the Southeast, minimum, taking home right along with us.

The folks at were great, helping me with questions, as we're new to pulling the rv, even after living in it since early '16.

These guys are pretty awesome. I received my product in a very timely manner and the instructions were easy to follow. The instructional video was a step by step video and made installation a jiffy. I recommend etrailer to anyone who wants to buy a quality product.

Product was used on my 2018 F-250 super Duty... awesome fit & ready to pull the camper... instructions were adequate for installation.. definitely recommend for all of your towing needs & hardware..

This kit was complete with all the parts you needed.
I inturn welded the "L" brackets to the frame, with no problems.

Very fast shipping. The included instructions could have been more user friendly but the videos on the site were excellent. Be sure to look up the videos before you do your install to catch some helpful pointers.

Stacey was an awesome help on the phone product was exactly what I had expected, installation was time consuming but worked out great thank you Stacey thank you etrailer be using you all again

this worked great and so easy to follow directions for mounting;;very glad for web site and will be ordering again from them

Instructions are very clear and a snap to install , my third kit from etrailer thanks

Was very impressed by the promptness my order was processed
and shipped. All parts and hardware were with the shipment,
and I was very pleased with the install.

They shipped my order right away. Came with everything they said it would and was very easy to install. I will definitely be ordering again from etrailer. Great job etrailer.

Your company was GREAT to work with, and sales was easy and hassel free. When I need trailer parts again will use your compant

Just what I ordered fast shipping.

Excellent product, easy on the bank account to, Instructions are easy to follow.

The product is just as advertised and the speeded shipment was great. I will use etrailer in the future.

Product fit as it should and I really enjoy using a trailer

E-trailer deserves 5 Stars for service, follow up and delivery. Thanks for the great service. As for the installation kit.. Bolts and nuts, fine, but the layout and brackets did not work with my vehicle, a 91 Chevy long-bed Silverado. I follow the instructions for locating the back rail, 30 & 15/16" per instructions. Located the brackets over the sloted 5/8" holes provided in the frame but had to turn the inward to match second holes in rails, could not make them work otherwise. Drilled the pilot holes for front thru front rail with hitch in place, missed front provided slots in frame with bracket by 2". No way in or out, forward or backward to make it work. Planning to have all brackets welded as drilling will not work due to lines ect. Basically the brackets don't work without welding.

this product was as stated every thing was there that was needed to complete the installation was perfect fit and installation went very well

  • Parts Required to Install RBW 5th Wheel Hitch UHS-88 in 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Short Bed
We do not recommend mixing brands of 5th wheel base rails and under-bed installation brackets. The reason is that the preciseness of the fit and the actual weight capacity will be unknown since these parts will not have been tested together. To install your RBW UHS-88 hitch in your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Short Bed you will want to contact an RBW dealer for the correct install kit for your truck.

  • Fifth Wheel Rails For 2004 Chevrolet Kodiak To Use 20K Fifth Wheel Hitch
The only option available for the 2004 Chevy Kodiak is the universal option. Fifth wheel rails and the brackets like part # RP30439 do not have a specified weight rating per say. They have the same weight rating as the hitch that is installed on them because the brackets attach directly to the vehicle's frame. The Reese Universal kit RP30439 does include grade 5 hardware. • Universal Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit Recommendation for a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500
Normally we don't recommend mixing fifth wheel bracket and rail manufacturers. If you have a Reese set of rails you would want the part number # RP30439. This kit is designed to fit 10 bolt Reese rails like what you may have since Reese is a very popular brand. Although this kit would most likely work with other brand rails I can't recommend this kit for you unless you know it is a Reese set of rails. For the hardware to secure the rails to this bracket kit you would want part # RP58430.

  • What Grade Hardware is Used in Reese Universal 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit
The carriage bolts you are referring to that go through the rails and bed of the truck are grade 5. You do not want to use hardware that is rated any lower than this. The correct hardware is part of what gives the installation kit the weight capacity rating it has. If you just need the hardware to attach the rails to the brackets then use # RP58430. But if you need the underbed brackets as well you will need # RP30439 that you referenced.

  • Will an RBW Lil Rocker 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit Reese 5th Wheel Rails
The Lil Rocker 5th wheel trailer hitch fits industry standard above the bed rails. With that said we do not recommend mixing brackets from one manufacturer with the rails from another.
