Now this unit is designed to prevent your sidewinder king pin from pivoting when it's in the hitch. It works with Reese Titan Fifth Wheel trailer hitches. It simply bolts onto the sidewinder in place of the universal wedge. Installation hardware is included.Now the hardware will need to be torqued to specifications listed in the instructions. So when you get this, please follow the instructions, hold onto those, because it does have the torque ratings listed.It's made from a durable steel construction.
Features a nice black, powder coated finish which is designed to resist rust and corrosion. And it's covered with a limited lifetime warranty.Now when installing this, the wedge needs to be positioned with the narrow end towards the front of the unit and the recessed area downward. Doroteo C - 05/27/2022This wedge did not fit with my Reese 5th wheel hitch that I purchased from etrailer for my Nissan Titan. However with enough grinding, it does fit eventually.

I am done with Reese .... The constant no release problem that seems to follow Reese.
I have the Reese 15k pro series with bed saver (no or hard to release) and then I purchased
The Reese 20k Titan (same hard to release) .... Then I purchased a b&w 18k with a slider ...
Locked out the revolution ... And was I surprised! It always releases every time.
I am going to junk both Reese's hitches because I don't think anyone should own them!

I have a sidewinder pin box and the universal wedge that came with it would not work on the Titan hitch. I tried to file it down and while it would now fit the slot it would allow (very little) side to side movement. I was looking at having to expend a rather large sum of money to purchase a sliding hitch but the good folks at eTrailer told me Reese had released a wedge for my hitch. The new wedge fits perfectly and solved all my hitch problems. I could not be happier with this product. I also appreciate the sales staff at eTrailer for steering me in the right direction and saving me a ton of money.
Elite airborne sidewinder is still the best solution for a short box but the ride isnt as good as I hoped it would be. It is considerably better than it was when I first installed it and had it set too stiff. Still the only short box hitch I will go with till something better comes along.
Works great along with my Reese r16 hitch. I am using airborne sidewinder on my Bighorn 3160 to accommodate the ram boxes on my Ram 3500. Nice smooth ride. Thanks Reese.
Instructions were great & installation was easy. High quality parts that looked great and are holding up well. Etrailer and Cequent (Reese's parent co.) are both great companies to deal with - extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the products they sell.
I just received my order to day everythings here and looks to be in good shape it took 5 days to get here weekend included.I think that's great very happy so far.I haven't installed any thing yet being 15 degrees out and no garage but when I do i know etrailer will be there to help great company I will continue to do business with them with confidence.
