Today we're going to take a look at the replacement legs for the Reese M5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch, for the Ford Super Duty trucks. Now this is a custom-fit part. These are designed to fit the 2011 and newer Ford F250, F350, and F450 Super Duty trucks with the eight foot bed, and the OEM prep package, and on a custom-fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website and use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this'll work for your application.Let me just turn this so you can see them a little bit better. Now these replacement legs will fit your Reese M5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch on the Ford Super Duty factory fifth wheel towing prep package. That hitch part number is RP30921. We do sell that hitch separately on our website.
Basically these are just the legs of that hitch, and these'll mount to the center section of the Reese M5 hitch, and allows you to install the hitch onto the Ford OEM prep package. It does come with all the hardware you need to bolt these legs to the center section, nice set of detailed instructions. It's a very quick, simple installation, once these are installed onto the hitch itself, then the whole hitch can drop right into the four receiver pucks that are built into your factory underbed rails.Just to show you how you install it, basically, there's these linchpins, one on each side. And you take the linchpin off, and then the one over there. And then you open up these handles 90 degrees, and when you do that, it rotates these tabs into the open position, and you do the same over here. With them in that position, all you do is drop the whole hitch into the factory pucks.
Once they drop in, you just close the handles. And it rotates it 90 degrees and locks it into the underbed system. And then just put your linchpin back in. Same over here. Everything I'm doing over here, you do the same on this side. Now, sometimes due to the differences in truck underbeds, these handles may be loose or too tight.
And these castle nuts right here can be adjusted. You take the counter pin out, turn this, tighten or loosen it, dependent on what you need for your application. And then they include the four new counter pins that you can put back through there. So it's very simple installation. But that should do it for the review on the replacement legs for the Reese M5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch for the Ford Super Duty trucks.

These replacement legs fit your Reese M5 fifth-wheel trailer hitch (30921) for the Ford Super Duty factory fifth-wheel towing prep package. Legs mount in the sockets in your truck bed for easy installation and removal. These are just what I needed. They fixed my problem. The original Equipmment I purchased I didn’t adjust correctly and rounded out the flat part of the bolt that controls the foot of the hitch so even with it locked into place the foot could move and possibly cause the hitch to become detached from the truck. Fast shipping and great price!
After a year of using this hitch, it's held up great. Still super quiet and solid while towing. I'd buy it again.
Excellent customer service and delivery as expected.
