Hey, everyone. So, today we're going to take a look at the front edge extension for the batwing and foxwing awnings from Rhino Rack. Now this attaches to the zippered edges on the outside of the batwing or fox wing awning, and it's just going to give you that little bit of additional coverage. Helps square off your awning to the vehicle. Just gives you more coverage for your driver side door, so you can get in there and access the inside, if it's raining out or something like that. You're not going to worry about getting wet, if you need to access anything on the driver side. It's going to come with one support leg that goes into the grommet at the corner of our extension, as well as this guide wire and an anchor that goes into the ground. Having that guide wire is pretty important, because if it wasn't there, the tarp could pull down on our extension and it wouldn't be able to stand up.
So, it just gives you that additional support, especially on those windy days, it's not going to go over too easy. It's going to have that same ripstop polyester construction to it, just like the batwing does. So it is going to be mold, water, and UV resistant. Now for the evening or morning times when the sun is at an angle and you kind of want some shade from it, but you still want air flow to be coming through your awning, you can lower this to where it's angled down, and that's still going to have airflow coming out. It's still going to protect you and shade you from the sun. When you're all done with your awning it's going to pack up nicely in this convenient bag. It's going to make for easy storage and it's not going to take up too much space when you're traveling with it.Now with that being said, it's going to do it for a look at the corner extension for the batwing and foxwing awnings from Rhino Rack.

This insert zips onto the front edge of your Rhino-Rack Batwing or Foxwing awning to increase the coverage area. Easy setup with telescoping pole, guy rope, and metal peg. Includes travel bag for storage. This is fabulous! I had been using a tapered wall extension but that was a tad too much, albeit functional. This extension designed for the front edge is the answer! BTW, I am using this on the passenger side of my Batwing and it zips right up without any issues (I did write to Rhino Rack before I ordered to check that it would work first). The other bonus is being able to fold it with the awning and being able to have it already zippered on when deploying the awning. Very pleased. Now if Rhino Rack made some wall extensions with screened windows, that would be great.
etrailer was very fast with their shipping and I am a happy camper (pun intended).
it is only7 good for a driver side mount awning. for the money i feel not a good value. also only comes with one steak. in my opinion they should have 4 stakes and 2 ropes
It should be double the size that they give you doesn’t cover anything trying to cover the cooking area and it just covers a little bit of it useless

It is designed to be an extension that is 78 and one half x 93 and a quarter x 50 inches in size.
Everything was delivered in a timely fashion. I have not had the opportunity to est these products out yet, but I can tell you Rhino-Rack does make quality products.
Shipping was awesome. The product was exactly what I ordered. 2nd time ordering from etrailer and will be back...
Fast delivery and product is just as de scribed.
This is a great idea and provides the shade it promises but is not worth the money. This part does not fit in the awning case, is quite long and takes up valuable space. The guy line must be used with this part while the awning may be deployed without guy lines.
You wouldn't think this would do much but it really does add a bit more coverage that is nice.
Works as it should.
