Hello etrailer neighbors. Welcome back. I'm Steven, and today we're looking at the Hi-Lift Jack and Shovel Holder Brackets for your Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack. Now folks, basically, again, this is just a double set of brackets, they're gonna let you secure one hi-lift jack and one shovel to your Rhino-Rack Platform. So again, these just help keep your vehicle's interior clean by securing the shovel and the dirty equipment on top of the roof. So maybe you've been out off-roading all day, you did get stuck, but hey, you're a smart person.

So you dig it out by yourself and you basically have now a dirty, dusty, muddy, possibly wet, who knows jack, and the shovel, and you don't wanna throw that inside the Jeep or whatever vehicle you're using. So you put everything back on top. Great choice. So that's what this will do. It'll work with all Pioneer Platform Racks.

It is a nice heavy duty powder coated steel. It's got rubber padding here or foam padding to help cushion the jack. And then up here it's got the wing nut or the tensioner here, that's gonna push on that flexible piece here and that's gonna crimp down and hold the jack to, or rather the shovel handle in place. So ideally these would be like this, the shovel handle will go through, you tighten those down. And then as far as mounting the jack, basically, again, it's a hi-lift jack, so if you're not familiar, it's a big rectangular piece of metal.

It's got a flat plate, probably something more like your grandfather probably used back on his 1950 something vehicle. But anyways, so real simple design. This lifts up, you put the jack in place, you got a bolt here that would go through one of the notches in the jack, that's securing it here. And then over here, same concept, but then you're tightening this one. And then this one also has an extra hole, that's so you can put a padlock through the jack hole and through this, thus keeping it locked in place.

It comes with a nice star tool here. Everything here is included, all the hardware and everything. I just kind of loosely put this together so everything's loose here. But really nice concept. I like the idea of being able to get everything up and out of the vehicle itself. Now these do have a maximum shovel handle diameter of one and 11/16th inches. So you can't go any thicker than that. And it has a nice three year limited warranty as well. All the steel's been powder coated, so it's gonna be corrosion resistant and that kind of stuff. So it's gonna last you a long time. It does come with all the hardware, the mount instructions, as well. Pretty simple design. I put this together probably in about five minutes, so it's not too bad.
