Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Side Rail Kit for the 59 Inch Long Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platforms. Now this versatile rail kit will include two side rails for the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platforms, and, as we mentioned, the application, this is for all of the 59 inch long Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platforms. Now I did want to pop up an insert just to show you these installed on that platform on top of a vehicle. And you can install these on the ends, or you can even move them in if you want to narrow it down.
You position 'em where you need 'em, can be configured in multiple positions to accommodate your load. They do provide multiple easy-to-access tie-off points, and it is an aerodynamic design you can see to help reduce wind, noise, and drag. It's a very quick, easy installation. It'll bolt to the platform's top channels using the included hardware, and, as you can see, I don't have it all put together, you just slide that off. You can slide these wherever you need them positioned and put the caps back on, and, again, all these parts will hold it all together when you position it where you need it.
It is made of steel. It is very strong and corrosion resistant. Has a nice matte black textured finish to it. Maximum strapping force on these rails is 220 pounds. Maximum pull force 440 pounds.
And the overall height of these when they're installed is gonna get you about 2 3/4 inches tall. Does come with a nice set of instructions and the hardware to show you how it all goes together and how you install it.
