Hi, it's Evangeline. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the replacement metal stakes for your Rhino-Rack accessories right here at etrailer. Now I've done a lot of camping in my life and a lot more camping here at etrailer. And the biggest thing, or one of the biggest things, that I've learned is please stake everything down. So you're gonna have different methods of doing so. Most of them are just gonna involve having a guideline, guide rope, anchor rope, and that's connected to a stick that's driven to the ground.

Other times you connect it to a sandbag if you're in a parking lot. So if you have, let's say, grass or dirt like what we have here, you're gonna want to use a stake or a peg. So this is a very traditional design for a stake. So it's a metal stake with an angled tip and then it comes up to an angled top. The angled tip makes it easier to drive into the ground and then the top makes it easier to hook a rope or a line through.

The downside to driving it into the ground though, is once you hit rocks or dirt or maybe you're at a bad angle, you can then bend your stake. So this is something that is fine every now and then, but over time it can be really difficult to pull the stake back up.
