I bought the dual hitch to allow me to carry my bike rack at the same time be able to leave my tow hitch attached. It works great!

John O - 03/31/2015Wow is this heavy duty. Perfect for my needs, except that the insert is solid steel so I can’t add an internal hitch silencer. The solid insert does give me reason to believe this will last forever as it can’t bend

Now can 4wheel down tow our Honda crv and put our bike carrier on the same receiver with plenty of clearance for the sharpest of turns. Very well made nice piece of equipment. jeff - 01/25/2020Received my 4 inch hitch adapter almost two weeks ago. Finally had the time to install and test it on my RV. The adapter fits great and the welds look very well done. The 4 inch drop along with my blue ox’s 4 inch drop are the perfect combination for my tow package. I plan to add a new bicycle carrier in the near future and this adapter was chosen with that in mind.

This is an absolutely a heavy duty receiver. The receiver is sold and not hollow. Shipping was slower than expected. They held it for3 days before shipping. etrailer needs to get better on this considering they are not the only ones to have this. Roadmaster has quality products.
Received the product and was not really happy with it. Was only able to get my blue ox tow bar in there with great difficulty by using a lot of lube and a hammer. When I tested it it was a bit to low (was using the 2" drop for the blue ox and wanted to use the 4" raise for my bikes) Getting it out was even more difficult and the only way to do was by connecting the car to the towbar and pulling it out. The fit in my RV was quite loose with a lot of wiggle room. Need to use some stems to fit it right.
Not using the product and not happy with the service since I wrote about the problems but never got any answers.
I bought 4"/2" drop/rise receiver adapter( RM-077-4) and 2 stainless steel locking hitch pins. I needed the 4" drop to line up our "toad" behind our motor home. This device with the 2" rise solved the problem of, "Where do I hang the bike rack?" and saved me from having to install a hitch on the towed vehicle for that purpose. The adapter and pins were shipped for free and we saved considerably over what we would pay at a nearby major RV retail store.
The quality of the locking pins speak for themselves in one word "STAINLESS". I wish they offered a similar quality pin in a side locking model instead of the end locking style. I would definitely replace the so called chrome one I have for the receiver on the coach.

It's rated for 10,000 pounds and I pull at most 5,000 pound fully loaded Jeep so I should never have a problem with this. I can also use the second hitch for a light cargo box since the 2 door Jeep does not allow for all my storage needs.
Not only is this the best and safest product (rated @ 10,000 lbs) to tow my vehicle with bicycles attached but Gwendolyn Y our sales rep was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable on her products and recommended all the accessories I needed. All was delivered promptly. Installation was a breeze. Thanks Gwen!

Bought this to use a bike rack along with my toad. Nicely made except that the inside corners in the two receiver tubes are too rounded. My bike rack "stinger" wouldn't fit in the receiver until I ground down the edges on all four outside corners of the stinger.
Sierra K - 02/25/2021Meaty and does the job. With an additional 1-1/2" drop built into my Demco Commander II tow bar, it's a perfect fit to hitch my 2021 Jeep Wrangler to my 2020 Winnebago View. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping to be able to fit a bike rack between the two vehicles.
Excellent, pulled the toad and attached the bike rack to the RV perfectly.
