Replaces 1 quick-disconnect adapter bracket and linch pin for your Roadmaster Tow Defender (RM-4700). Connects the Tow Defender to your Roadmaster tow bar with quick disconnects.
Features:
Note: Make certain that the quick disconnect linch pin is properly attached to the adapter bracket. If not locked into position, with the curved side of the linch pin touching the ring, vibrations as a result of towing will force the linch pin out of the bracket, which will cause the tow bar to separate from the towed vehicle.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement quick disconnect adapter bracket and safety pin for the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen. This is for a quantity of one bracket and pin. Now this will replace a quick disconnect adapter bracket and safety pin on the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen. That screen we do sell separately on the website.
It's part number RM-4700, and I did want to pop up an insert just to give you an idea what that screen looks like. And if you look at the very top of that, you can see these two brackets that are sticking out. Basically, this quick disconnect adapter bracket allows you to connect your tow defender screen to the Roadmaster tow bar. This bracket will attach to the support brackets on the tow defender. Right here, you put this onto the support brackets, and then you'll take your safety pin, open it up, run it through the bracket, the holes on the support brackets, and then back through and then clip it into place to hold it into place.
And then the other end of the bracket right here that have the holes in it, this'll go attach to the pin on top of your quick disconnect crossbar on the towed vehicle using the linchpin that's already on the crossbar. Now this is for one bracket, and one bracket is for each side. Two of these brackets are required for a set. This part here, as we said, would replace one side of your set. But that should do it for the review on the replacement quick disconnect adapter bracket and safety pin for the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen.

Replaces 1 quick-disconnect adapter bracket and linch pin for your Roadmaster Tow Defender (RM-4700). Connects the Tow Defender to your Roadmaster tow bar with quick disconnects.Purchased a used Tow Defender and it didn’t have these brackets. Bought 2. Very happy with the quality of the clips.
The disconnect adapter bracket was exactly like the original. Part was well painted and arrived with no damage. I needed a second set and very pleased that I could still acquire the brackets.
It works would have likes ramps to help get bikes in place
Easy install & fits perfectly.
I can't really review these because I haven't installed them yet. They did not come with the longer bolts that I needed and I also have a broken gas shock that goes with the shield so I've never used it in 3 years. It's on my list to do this year since I just got my Jeep painted in Mexico and it looks great. Don't want to scratch the new paint!
Traveled to Alaska, then to the east coast - 14,000 + miles and the Roadmater Tow Shield has been working great!
Item was as advertised and arrived within advertised time frame. I would order from retailer again!
Worked very well!
Excellent customer service!
