Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the replacement hitch pin for a Roadmaster D-ring tow bar adapters. Now a replacement hitch pin isn't something you really normally think about until it's too late and you need more. So I personally don't like to look at these as replacements, but more or less extras or backups. And in my opinion, it's as good to have a couple of those backups or extras, because a lot of times what can happen, you get to your destination, you arrive at your campsite, you go to unhook your Jeep, and you pull the pins out under your tow bar and you kind of get to talking with your friends and family, enjoying yourself. So you might just set the pins down on the Jeep, unhook everything, and forget about it for a while.
Well, the next day or later on in the evening, you take your Jeep for a spin, forget your pins are on the bumper, they fall off and you lose them. You don't realize it until you get back, go to hookup so you can go home or your next destination, and realize your pins are missing.But then you realize you actually picked up a couple of spares. So it's not the end of the world. You just hook back up and you're ready to go. I do want to mention the replacement pen only comes as this one piece.
It does not come with this other pin, but I would recommend picking up a couple extras of these, that way you'll have the whole assembly. And you can find these replacements here at E-Trade as well.These are going to be the same diameter and same length as the ones that actually came with their adapters. So it's going to give you that peace of mind, knowing that these are going to fit perfectly. So overall, a couple extra pins are never a bad thing to have laying around whenever the time comes, if you do happen to lose the originals. That way you're not trying to source new pins whenever you're over the road or hanging out with your family.

Strong, sturdy pins that attach the towed (toad) vehicle to the tow vehicle. Good quality and I have confidence that they won't end up being the weak link in the setup. I plan to have one or two extra in case I misplace one.
A few extra pins is always good to have, 4 stars because if I lose one of the original pins I probably lost the locking pin on the other end. Really wish this had come with the locking pin as well.

Working great. Having extras is a great idea as I did lose one this past year and having extras was a time saver.
