Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Replacement Shocker Hitch Ball Mount Pins with the safety clips, and this is for a quantity of two. Now, these pins and clips will fit all the Shocker hitch bumper mounted products, these parts will replace either a worn out, damaged, or lost mounting pin and clip. The dimension on the pin itself is gonna be a 5/8 inch diameter, and the usable length, and when we say usable length, what I'm gonna do is put a clip in there like if it was installed, and the usable length will be measured from here to where that clip is, so if we put our ruler on that, you can see roughly about 4 1/2 inches of usable length. Now, I also wanna demonstrate how these are used, and I happened to pull a mount here, this is the Impact series hitch, and you can see this channel mount design, has the adjustment holes here that these pins would go through, and what they're used for is I happened to pull an attachment, this is a raised ball attachment that would install into here, and you can put in whatever height you need. So these pins would be used once you get it to the height you need, slide it through there, it goes to the attachment, and slide it right down there, and then when you get it through, take your clips, and go ahead and put that in there, and then put the other one in the bottom, and just like that it secures your attachment to your channel mount, that's what it is used for.

And then to remove them, they're very easy, you just pull out the clips, slide out the pins, and it removes your attachment from your channel mount. Now, these are a 5/8 inch diameter replacement mounting pin and clip, they're very easy to grasp. You could see they have a nice large D-handle here, it gives you a large handle that's very easy to hold on to, no more fumbling with a small hitch pin head. Now, these do stick straight out, they don't fold or bend, so they do stick out a little bit. And the large safety clips you can see makes installing and removing the clips really easy, all you have to do is put it into the hole, push it down and it installs right in there, and then to remove move them, you got a big opening here, pull it right out, very simple.
