Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement threaded hitch bolt for the sport rack, bike racks, and cargo carriers. Now, this part will replace a lost or damaged anti rattle hitch bolt for your sport rack, hitch mounted bike rack, or cargo carrier. It is designed to work with many of the sport rack models. Now on the product page, we do list a bunch of the part number of the bike racks and cargo carriers that this will fit.This will secure your bike rack or cargo carrier to the hitch. It helps reduce the noise and movement of the rack that's in the hitch. A few measurements on this.
The overall length from the bottom of the head to the very tip of the bolt, it's going to be right at 3-5/16". The threaded portion length is 1/3", and the usable length that would be measured from under the head to the start of the hole right there is right at 3".But that should do it for the review on the replacement threaded hitch bolt for sport rack, bike racks, and cargo carriers.

I was able to find a replacement bolt for my bike rack. It came fast and fit perfectly.
Unfortunately the pin did not fit my Thule bike rack hitch. I thought it would after reading the reviews.

Excellent. It was an exact fit for a previous bolt which included a hole in the end for a safety pin in the event the bolt were to come lose on the road and prevents whole bike rack assembly from falling off. Etrailer.com is my go-to for all trailer related parts needs.
everything is fine w/the trailer hitch for my bike rack. It was an easy installation and a perfect fit. Would have cost much more at a Kia dealership.

I bought this to replace a lost bolt for a bike rack, and it worked as expected. I do wish etrailer sold one that had a notch for locks on the end, however.

Thank you for your review. If you are looking for a locking pin you may be able to use the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers part # SR0901 which is designed to fit the SR2403, SR2404, SR2603, SR2604, SR2703, SR2704, SR2901 and SR2902 bike racks and SR9850 cargo carrier. Since I am not sure which rack you have you may want to check to see if your bike rack is on this list.
This was for an older Bell 4-bike rack I was gifted but without this threaded hitch bolt (and a 1 1/4" to 2" adaptor). This is the correct hitch bolt and fits perfect.
The threads (13) were spot-on like most bike rack hitch bolts; but for $XX+ and S&H, I would think it comes with at least a lock washer. So hence only 4 stars. All you get is the bolt which I am happy for, but I would refer friends to just pick up a 13-thread carriage bolt w/lock washer and/or nylon nut for like $5.
Excellent! Was very pleased with the replacement hitch bolt for my older model bike rack that was hard to find. etrailer had the exact model number of my bike rack which sealed the deal. Bolt was threaded perfectly; once started with wrench was able to turn it in with fingers until tightening with wrench. Painted up nice with pin hole in end, almost seemed better than original! Recommended etrailer.com to local bike shop for hard to find replacement parts of this type. Also liked their video before I ordered. I'll certainly check with etrailer for any type of replacement type hardware in the future!

Item fit perfectly when received.
Shipping was a little slower than I would have liked (we’ve all been spoiled by [another website]), but the part arrived on Day 8 and was exactly what I needed. etrailer comes through once again for me with the oddball one-off part that I needed to make a no longer made bike rack useable again.
Important to note that I reached out to the bike rack manufacturer first, and they were not able to help me. But etrailer had exactly what I needed.
Bought this for my son-in-law. His Tundra has a double wall 2” hitch. Stock locking bolt for bike hitch is too short. This fits perfectly! Have purchased numerous items from e-trailer, never disappointing!

A hard part to find. Not available in stores. The previous screw, which connected the bike rack with the car hitch had broken. Fortunately I found it on the ETrailer site. I ordered and it came in no time. I am pleased with the service.
The part was exactly what I needed and response from the etrailer team was excellent.
One of the best order tracking examples I've seen where a map shows your order in progress all along the way from start to final destination and with each delivery step clearly noted. There was no need to use a the 3rd party tracking site (usps, ups, fedex).

This was the 4th replacement hitch pin I had ordered & none fit my maxxhaul platform style bike rack. I have spoken with CS numerous times to no avail.
The part is "Right-On"! It fit perfectly and had NO flaws in the threading or other areas of the bolt. I will always look here first for any on my trailering needs. And I always recommend etrailer to my friends and family.

The product itself is great. Missing the last star as I think this should have come with the pin that slots into the hole. Or at least a link should have been provided to the pin.

If you need a replacement retaining clip for the Replacement Threaded Hitch Bolt, I have confirmed that Curt Hitch Clip # C21600 will fit the retaining hole in this bolt.

After a year this product still works perfectly.
String bolt with 1/2-13 threads for those type of bike racks that have the internal nut so the this bolt takes up any looseness between the rack tube and receiver hitch. Fast ship and great followthrough on location during shipping process
This a difficult item to find, but picture matched thitem I needed. However I was unable to get info on diameter of bolt or the thread count. I'm using it on an ATV trailer to hold Ramp as a tailgate. I'm going to have to use a die to rethread the bolt to SAE 1/2" threads.
I have a Bell four bike Hitch rack, and this did the job.
My only word of caution from my experience is have a socket wrench with a size 19 socket ready.
