Black powder coated aluminum resists corrosion.I would like to give a A rating, but I am unable to as it was just delivered today, and I have not had a chance to install. That being said the item was delivered with the box completely opened. I do not know if all the pieces are there. At this point, it appears to be a good quality handrail. If you would like to send me another rating in a few days after it’s been installed I would be happy to do so. (I was unable to submit this unless I chose a rating above so I gave average.)
This new handrail is doing exactly what we hoped for! No more having to reach up to get to the handrail. Fit perfectly in replacing the one that came on our Forest River 8263 MBR travel trailer.
Fits perfectly in place of the stock entry handle that came with our RV. So far appears it will work well. 4 stars because the handle is loose in the cradles and moves when u grab the handle to enter. Stock one was tighter.
My wife has mobility and balance issues. With our standard entry handle, she was wobbly, especially if ice or snow was on the steps. She has only used this handle a couple of times but is very comfortable.
Install was easy, remove 4 Phillips screws, clean underneath the mount pads, apply sealer (I used silicone) to the screw holes, put the handle back in place and reinstall the screws (new ones are included but I just reused what was there).
The product is of quality. The service agents (this time it was Gwen) and follow-ups are amazing. This is why I choose etrailer for my camper needs.
Fit exactly where original handle was. Went on very easily. Could use addition foam sleeve on the angled upper tho.
Very easy to replace the existing handle with this. Makes entering and exiting the trailer much safer.
Nice handle upgrade. 15 minute install time. New lend-a-hand same brand as original install, so used same holes to mount to trailer. Very happy to have launched longer support to go along with new stairs.

Replaced a broken smaller version. This is nice and bolted right in.
I installed one of these at both trailer doors. They have been terrific. After a knee and hip joint replacement surgeries and arthritis in the others, my wife is mobility challenged. Not only do these handrails help her get into the trailer, it gives her more confidence about getting in. You should realize there is a chance there may not be blocking at your mounting locations but this is somewhat mitigated by the fact there are 3 screws per mounting block. Special fasteners may be advisable.

Still working well. I am very pleased.
Installation was a breeze. Product enhances safety and looks good too.
Took all of 10 minutes to install.Bolted up to existing
handrail bolt holes.Gives you
a much more secure feeling going up and down stairs.
The grab rail match the holes from my original handle, so installation was a breeze. Like having the lower handle for my wife's smaller size, makes it great for her.

It works great. Should be on all RVs.
We added this railing when we installed Liperts Solid Step RV stairs on our 5th wheel RV. This railing works great for older campers and our younger grandkids as well. Mounted in the original location that pur previous railing mounted. Would be again....

We love it. It is perfect for our 3 year old grandson as well as his grandparents!!!! My wife especially feels much safer going down our longer set of stairs. Arrived right away too.
A couple of things to note: on our Coachmen Catalina the bracket points did not match the factory installed folding handle that was there before so I could only use one previously used attach points. The other thing - my bad! - when I went to measure the bottom attachment I had one of the brackets not seated in a groove and thus when I drilled holes and was ready to go - the handle could not do its thing requiring me to drill another set of holes fairly close to the set I just drilled. Grrrrr. Both sets are covered by the housing and made sure they were well caulked! I just wanted to point out for others to MAKE sure the top and bottom are seated firmly before marking and drilling your holes. Again WORKS GREAT after my dufus mistake was corrected!! Thanks for another super product.
By the way the factory install handle got put on our bedroom door as it only had a solid grab handle. Left that in place and put the folding handle around it.
The lend a hand replaced the regular grab bar that came with trailer being disabled the lend a hand works better than the original bar what is best about it larger or longer bar to hold onto as you go up or down the stairs the original bar does not have that the extra length. I'm really glad I put this on the trailer you won't go wrong by putting this on your trailer
I bought two of these for our travel trailer. My wife has mobility issues and this has very helpful to her. They were relatively easy to install. Most trailers have very limited blocking in the wall so it is best if they can be attached at the same attachment points as the original handles. Not the same holes just the same general location.
Great product easy to install.
The extended handle makes entering our trailer much easier. I would especially recommend if someone has limited strength in there arm/shoulder. The installation was very easy as it used the same mounting holes as the original handle.
