The lend a hand replaced the regular grab bar that came with trailer being disabled the lend a hand works better than the original bar what is best about it larger or longer bar to hold onto as you go up or down the stairs the original bar does not have that the extra length. I'm really glad I put this on the trailer you won't go wrong by putting this on your trailer
A great help to my wife who has had knee replacement surgery. It gives her stability and confidence coming into and out of the trailer.

Perfect for our Reflection fith wheel
My wife has difficulty getting into our newly purchased motorhome so I Googled rv handrails and came up with this Lend-a-Hand Grab Handle. The price was in line with what I expected so I ordered it. Two days later I received the Grab Handle. Installation was easy, took about ten minutes and I am extremely pleased with its operation. Five stars from me.
I installed one of these at both trailer doors. They have been terrific. After a knee and hip joint replacement surgeries and arthritis in the others, my wife is mobility challenged. Not only do these handrails help her get into the trailer, it gives her more confidence about getting in. You should realize there is a chance there may not be blocking at your mounting locations but this is somewhat mitigated by the fact there are 3 screws per mounting block. Special fasteners may be advisable.
John T - 04/14/2020The extended handle makes entering our trailer much easier. I would especially recommend if someone has limited strength in there arm/shoulder. The installation was very easy as it used the same mounting holes as the original handle.
It's great. So much easier to get in and o.ut of our 5th wheel. Great purchase.
After one-year the extra long grab handle is still holding up as advertised. I would definitely purchase again.
We love it. It is perfect for our 3 year old grandson as well as his grandparents!!!! My wife especially feels much safer going down our longer set of stairs. Arrived right away too.
A couple of things to note: on our Coachmen Catalina the bracket points did not match the factory installed folding handle that was there before so I could only use one previously used attach points. The other thing - my bad! - when I went to measure the bottom attachment I had one of the brackets not seated in a groove and thus when I drilled holes and was ready to go - the handle could not do its thing requiring me to drill another set of holes fairly close to the set I just drilled. Grrrrr. Both sets are covered by the housing and made sure they were well caulked! I just wanted to point out for others to MAKE sure the top and bottom are seated firmly before marking and drilling your holes. Again WORKS GREAT after my dufus mistake was corrected!! Thanks for another super product.
By the way the factory install handle got put on our bedroom door as it only had a solid grab handle. Left that in place and put the folding handle around it.

We added this railing when we installed Liperts Solid Step RV stairs on our 5th wheel RV. This railing works great for older campers and our younger grandkids as well. Mounted in the original location that pur previous railing mounted. Would be again....
I bought two of these for our travel trailer. My wife has mobility issues and this has very helpful to her. They were relatively easy to install. Most trailers have very limited blocking in the wall so it is best if they can be attached at the same attachment points as the original handles. Not the same holes just the same general location.
This assist handle works great for those of us who are a bit older and need something to grab onto before we get on that frsi step.
Bought this unit for my 89 year young mother in law. Needed to get her a little more help with the camper steps. Easy to install and worked just like we planned. She now has places to put both hands on the rail and they start nice and low too. Perfect.

We use it as a handrail at the backdoor of the house, were there are 3 concrete steps. It is perfect!
