Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement foot pad and pin for the Stromberg Carlson landing gear. Now foot pads or foot plates do a good job at spreading out the applied weight, especially on softer surfaces to help prevent sinking. This unit is going to replace one foot pad and one pin and clip for your tandem landing gear. This is designed for use with Stromberg Carlson landing gear, part number is LG-1, Lg-2, LG-3, LG-4, or LG-183708. It can also work with most other brands of landing gear including Atwood and Lippert. It's constructed of heavy duty steel with protective finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion.
Very simple installation. This piece right here, you can see how that's raised, that's where the pin is going to go through. This portion would go into the bottom of the drop leg. You'd line up the hole on the drop leg with that portion there, slide it through, secure it with a clip on the other side, and then it's going to be fully installed. Let's take a look at some measurements real quick. Going edge to edge, it's going to give us an overall length measurement of about eight inches.
And then going this direction edge to edge, it's going to give us a width measurement of about five inches wide. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement foot pad and pin and clip for Stromberg Carlson landing gear.

No problem with product. Disappointed in original customer service--website indicated product to be available when it was out of stock. Follow-up customer service to handle my problem was excellent. End result was I received the necessary products but was late and caused a delay in a planned trip.
I'm not sure how the previous owner of my 5th wheel bent up the original foot pads, but one year after installing these replacements, they still look new with no sign of bending.
great product, listed as described, very easy installation. Only downside is that it is a little smaller than my factory feet, but it is not a problem for me.
Purchased the replacement foot pads to replace the rusted ones on my camper. The pads are made of quality metals. Very heavy not some flimsy little things! Browsed the website and found a lot of replacement items I will definitely be purchasing in the near future.. Great customer service as well.

Lost one of the landing gear feet on my Montana 5th wheel. I was pleased to find this replacement that is equal to or better that the quality of the original.
