Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Superwinch replacement synthetic rope. This is a 55 foot long by 5/16 of an inch thick synthetic rope that's gonna replace the rope for your Superwinch S5500 and S7500 winches. Because this is a Superwinch product, you can trust it is going to work well with those winches and you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This is a lightweight rope that is made of AmSteel-Blue, which is one of the strongest synthetic ropes available on the market right now. It is braided with a Dyneema SK-75 HMPE fiber, so it is going to be very strong for you.

That Dyneema is noted for its exceptional strength, and being very lightweight, it is gonna be very easy to handle and it will also float on water. This is going to be safer than wire. If the line should sever under a load, you're not gonna have to worry about it cutting you like sharp metal would. And this is 12-strand single braid construction. So it is going to be torque free, has no tendency to twist or kink the way your twisted ropes can.

This does also have a low stretch and flex fatigue so it is going to help prolong the life of the rope. It has a special coating that's gonna help increase resistance to wear. You can see it does also have this guard sleeve that's gonna help protect against abrasion. And then we have this stainless steel thimble in the eye splice at the end that's going to allow you to easily attach hooks and increase your rope life by having that reinforced stainless steel there. So overall, a really great option if you are needing to replace that synthetic rope or if you're just wanting to upgrade and this will do a great job for you.
