Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this replacement non-locking knob for your Swagman Original and XP series bike carriers that we inchesre made 2009 and newer. So folks, this does replace one of those non-locking knobs, again for your Swagman Original or XP series bicycle carrier that was from '09 and newer. There's just one option there on the screen I'll throw up there. So those top two black plastic knobs, this is gonna replace one, again, quantity one of those. Now it does hold the top plate of your bike rack securely in place.
And it accepts a M10 by one and a half inch threaded bolt. Very simple replacement. You got the steel threaded center core there, surrounded by the nice hard plastic, (knob tapping) very rigid, very heavy duty, the made. A direct factory replacement part again, by Swagman so you can ensure it's gonna work with that Swagman Original or XP series bike carrier again, from 2009 or newer. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up.

Used the original knob for a long time. I believe it finally cracked. The replacement works as well as the original. No complaints.

Product is what I expected. Service from etrailer.com far exceeded my expectations. This part was not available and actually needed manufactured. Molly with etrailer.com emailed me and let me know what was going on, and kept me up to date with monthly status emails. The product was eventually manufactured and Molly actually called me to update me on the process and when I could expect shipment.
These were replacements for the one I left on my bumper as I drove away! I called the Canadian company to learn that Etrailer.com were the retailers here in the States. Once on their site it was easy to navigate and order. I especially appreciate that they shipped these quickly and just in the nick of time!!

Working good!!!
This was a difficult product to find elsewhere, so I am so glad Etrailer had it. It fits our bike rack so we can now transport bikes again safely.

Great
Product arrived swiftly and works fine. My only caveat is that we lost the original knob because, although it was screwed down well, it wasn't tightened down enough, but it was better than just hand tight. You need to tighten these knobs down very hard or they work loose on a journey of anything over 100 miles, even on good roads. I've added a spring washer now and that seems to have done the trick.

Since adding the spring washer and ensuring the lock knobs were tight this has worked great. Been to S. Dakota, KY and all over upper Midwest with 4 bikes on it and towing a camper. No problems at all.
The new knob worked great… it has a smaller head which in turn fits better in my hand and makes it easier to tighten down….we have literally thousands of miles on the knob and bike rack that it’s used on and have no problems

Product is still holding up well... definitely recommend ordering again and only from etrailer.
I purchased a Swagman bike rack. Shortly after using it 2 or 3 times the knobs for tightening the plate that holds the bikes failed. The threaded metal insert in the plastic just began to spin inside the plastic and couldn’t be tightened. I had to purchase a set of knobs which were about $50. Obviously I was very unhappy.

Works better then lock knob that came with bike rack
Excellent quality and holding up well a year later
Original knob fell to concrete from top of bike carrier. Hit just right and broke the nut housing from the had knob.
These are easy to spin on when mounting bikes on carrier.
They were replacement parts for our bike rack. Price and delivery were good.
Just used them again this past week! Re liable.

We are DELIGHTED with the non locking knob for our swagman bike rack. I lost the knob that came with the rack purchased in 2011 and lost hope finding the right one.the price, delivery and customer service are exceptional.
I was relieved upon learning that i can order parts for the seagman Xp. I went to swagman online, and referred me to nearby retailer (partner company) but it was the same response that neither they offer/sell parts. It was good that etrailer online has it..
