This tether kit eliminates rack sway during transport on Swagman XP Series 4- and 5-bike carriers. Kit includes a clip that attaches to the cradle closest to your vehicle and a strap that is hooked to a point on your vehicle for stability.

Features:

• Helps to reduce rack sway on Swagman XP Series 4- and 5-bike carriers
• Includes fixing plate, tether-strap clip and strap
  • Fixing plate mounts between tube gripper plate and the metal cradle
  • Tether-strap clip is inserted into slot on fixing plate
  • Tether strap wraps through anchor point on vehicle (hatch, trunk or window) and back through built-in, metal, spring-loaded buckle
    • Tighten strap and tie off excess length to prevent flapping and loosening
• Required for XP Series 5-bicycle carrier (S64970)
