Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule replacement spar tube assembly. This is going to replace the spar tube assembly that is on the inside of your stinger closest to your vehicle. It will work for the Thule T2 Pro XTB platform rack, as well as the extended version of that platform rack and the extension itself. So if you have any of those that are needing to replace that inside spar tube assembly, this is going to be a direct replacement from Thule.
So you can trust it is going to be exactly what you need, all the same features as the original. You've got your ratcheting arm, tighten down on your bike, make sure it's gonna have a nice firm hold. The arm itself will fold down for easier storage. And to accommodate bikes, it's also got the cable here table here to wrap around. It does not include a lock core here, so you will either have to purchase that separately as a replacement or just reuse the original.
And the hardware to get it mounted is not included as well, so you will have to likely reuse the original hardware there. But overall, because this is a direct replacement from Thule, you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original spar tube assembly. You're not gonna have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.

Great product support, excellent easy to use site. Found replacement parts needed to repair damaged rack. Saved me lots of $.
You missed out on the 5 stars because the spare was dented. The box was damaged on the end. The dent was in the middle. Not a big dent and it shouldn't have any impact on the long term use. It's just been one of those weeks where everything related to the accident, to include replacement bike parts has been epic.
