And in case I lose another one!
I never thought I would find this part for our old Thule bike rack that we are going to sell. Without this part we did’t feel right about selling damaged goods. I am glad I found this website and would highly recommend doing business with them.
These appear to be the same parts for my very old Thule kayak saddle rack model 1050-40. I have been using this system since the 90's and except for some rusted bolts, it has been my goto kayak rack. I am glad that etrailer still has some parts to help to keep it going.
Part fits perfectly. Lost one of these to road vibration, got four more (just in-case) from etrailer for very reasonable cost. Ordered the longer threaded section for added threaded connection strength.

This part replaces 3-wing knobs on a variety of Thule components. I have used them with the U-bolt assemblies holding old bike trays to the rectangular load bars, and to attach a Thule faring to a load bar. I have come across 3-wing knobs with short and long stems, and these are the long ones. They're required for clearance above some of the accessories, but they also have a tendency to split when screwed down very tight.

Exactly what I needed to replace the original Thule part. I like that these ones are taller than the original which requires fewer twists to get them tight.

These knobs appear to be identical replacements for Thule at a reasonable cost and they fit the hardware correctly. My original Thule knobs all cracked over time where the steel nut is enclosed in the plastic. I would caution against over-tightening the knobs since their design does not hold up to much torque, especially as the plastic hardens from heat and sun exposure. So far I am satisfied with these and will buy more. The order and delivery process with etrailer.com went as expected.
Originally I went directly to Thule for this replacement part, placed the order with Thule in April 22nd. They informed me today that the order is shipping, over 1 month after i ordered. I the meantime i went to etrailer.com and they had the part at my door in less than 3 days from ordering, shipping w/ economy. I highly recommend etrailer.com. These guys were great. The website was well laid out and it was easy to navigate to the products that I needed. I ordered it on Saturday and they called me on Sunday to clarify my shipping address. I have a 25 year old Thule bike rack and one of the knobs broke and the other three were pretty worn, so I ordered 4 new ones. With some technical help, I was able to order the correct ones and they show up promptly and worked great. The etrailer folks are the best. Thanks
