Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Replacement Track Nut for the Thule Tracker Roof Rack Fit Kit, Part Number TK4. Now this will replace a one track nut on the Thule Tracker Roof Rack Fit Kit. This track nut will attach to the bottom of your Thule Tracker Fit Kit Foot, and it mounts in the factory roof rack railing of your vehicle. And it does attach to the Tracker Foot with a bolt and a washer. We do sell those items separate on our website.
They are listed on this product page as a related product. Again, this fits in your vehicle's factory roof rack railing allowing the foot to slide along the track. So it creates an adjustable roof rack system. Last thing we do is just give you some measurements on this. Width on it is right at 1 1/4" by 3/4" and it's 1/8" thick.

This part allowed me to adapt y previous Thule accessories to work on VW Branded Roof Bars.
Used this product to mount awnings on my camper's roof rack. Worked perfect and, as always, etrailer provided outstanding customer service. Uses M6x1.0x (whatever length you need, I used 16mm).
The specs provided on your website for this particular part were perfect. I was unable to find accurate dimensions anywhere else. Thank you for going the extra mile!
These fit perfectly in the bottom slot of the Yakima Jetstream. They are pretty much the thickest and widest nut that will fit in the slot, so they are plenty strong. The price would have been way too high if they were not such high quality. I used 4 per bar to make custom towers to hold my Jetstream crossbars to the top of a Jeep Wrangler hard top. (I made a system to interface with the Teraflex Nebo). Just get the proper length M6x1mm pitch bolts for your application.

After losing a track nut for a Westin Heavy Duty roof rack and not finding a replacement part anywhere, I went looking for a suitable substitute. This part is substantial enough to handle the rack's parameters and is easier to assemble than the original part. Thanks to etrailer for publishing size specs, preventing guess work for my hybrid fix. Reasonable price too.
Funny, I used it to hold down a Yakima Landing Pad tower on a factory ARE truck
cap roof track. It replaced a Yakima track nut where the bolt sheared off after cross threading. Works perfectly. The Thule brand track nut is actually a little bit longer and beefier. Also, at the time I could only find Yakima track nuts in a kit. Purchasing just one track nut saved beaucoup bucks.
My project was to create a side tie down point for a Chevy Traverse roof rack system. After much research and experimentation, I was able to use this item as the lower attach nut.
I gave this product a 4-star only because of some incorrect sizing specs on the etrailer product questions page that caused me problems after ordering. This product will fit the slides on the roof of most pop up campers. It provides a good secure point for mounting roof racks.

After 1 yr, the nuts are still holding strong. I have put many heavy loads on the crossbars, and drove coast-to-coast with a kayak on the roof at 80 mph. The nuts are still holding tight and strong to the Jetstream crossbars.
