What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we have a problem. So, we're using our thru axle bike rack up on top of our roof but we're using the skewer that originally mounted this wheel to the bike, but we don't have another one. And we want to put this wheel up on the roof because we're using the Thule tire holder. So Thule does have a thru axle skewer adapter right here. This is just going to give you one more, so we can go ahead and put this on our front wheel so we can store it up on our roof with our bike.

So what we're going to get with the kit is the threaded portion on that side. And then of course the skewer. So the overall length from the end here, just to this point, it's going to be about six and a half inches. And then from the end to the start right here, it's going to be about five and five eighths of an inch and not including the threaded portion. It's going to be about four and a half inches.

This is going to work with pretty much any of your wheels that you may have. And the diameter is just under a quarter of an inch. So it's going to fit through pretty much everything. What you want to do, take it like this. Let's put it through and then thread it on, but not all the way.

What we want to do now is if you're using the Thule tire hold or any of the other ones that we carry, you take this now. Go down here and this is going to be compatible with a fourth dropout of a hundred millimeters all the way up to 110 millimeters. So it's perfect for what we have today. And once we get it lined up to where we want it, close that in, push this down, and now we're ready to put this up on our roof. Now we can use the Thule tire hold or any other tire holder that you may have and fit it in.

And we can secure everything up on top, just so if you just don't want to put it in the back, or you typically have a muddy tire after a long ride, this is going to allow us to have an extra skewer so we can put it up on our roof. If you have a thule roof mounted bike rack with a thru axle bike, this is going to be great. Just to give you an extra part. There really isn't a whole lot to it. It works and it just gives you an extra skewer to take care of your wheel. That's basically it. So that'll do it for our look at the Thule thru axle skewer and I'm Adam with etrailer..
