We have had our bike rack for a number of years and have always loved it. Never had any problem and I love the way and ease but I wish I can open my tailgate door and close it without having to deal with the bike rack at all very easy. We in all these years have not had a flat tire so we did not have to deal with taking off our bike rack. However we got a flat tire and we had to take off the bike rack. Neither my husband nor I knew where the key was. There is no way you're going to get that bike rack off without the key. I decided to call Thoule to see about getting another key. It had been a number of years and it was a Sunday afternoon. Jennifer answered my phone call and took me right through the process and within one week I had my key. I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.1742087

The movers had departed and we were packing the SUV with personal items and getting ready to attach the Thule to the roof rack to depart in 2 days. "Oh no!" The movers packed the box with all of the keys in it!
