I was brought to etrailers by a google search looking for a replacement key for my SportRack lock barrel #012.
I was sent to this page that specifically says the Thule No12 key fits my rack lock number.
It absolutely did not fit and is now broken inside of my lock, A replacement lock for my rack is XX$, So over an XX$ key i now have to buy 4 new locks. This has been a nightmare.

Was recommended this product by an etrailer expert. It did not unlock my lock even though the lock code was correct. They were fast to pass me off to Thule instead of solving it themselves. A professional picked the lock open, verifying that it was functional but the key was wrong.

I lost the key to my Thule cargo carrier. Did some research and etrailer was there to save the day. Replacement key worked perfect and I paid for two day shipping. Within an hour the key was cut and shipped and the tracking information was sent. Great company, great service! Highly recommend!!

Recently emptied my storage unit and was excited to finally be able to use my roof cargo box for an upcoming camping trip for much needed extra space… Only to realize I have no way to secure and lock it while driving because the key that was taped onto the box fell off. I secured it with a hardy nylon strap for the drive home from storage, but knew I needed to be able to lock and secure it for maximum safety on long highway stretches. Hopped one trailer, entered the code etched in the locking mechanism and within 45 seconds I had a replacement key in my cart and checked out. Key arrived today and works flawlessly.

Saved my bacon! I have a Mini brand top box and broke off the only key I had. I was able to order two new ones and they came right away.
Ordered a lock core replacement as well. And that should arrive soon. I have to replace the core because of the above mentioned key I snapped off and screwed up the core digging out the key remnant. Thanks eTrailee!

I had needed a set of keys to an older Sears X-Cargo topper for an upcoming trip to coastal Maine.
