Video Transcript for TruRyde E-Z Lube Grease Caps Plug Review

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the true ride plugs for EZ Lube grease caps. So right off the bat you're probably wondering are these actually gonna fit my trailer And as long as you have the EZ Lube grease caps chances are really good they will. There are a bunch of different manufacturers that make these caps but generally speaking they're all gonna have the same size opening there. So if you pop this one out, like I said majority of them are gonna be the same. So 1.18 size opening.

So if you're unsure, you can measure that and figure that out really. And the whole point of the cap, you know the grease cap and this plug, is allow to you to pop that out like I just did. Get your grease gun in there and lube up all of your parts inside of there with ease. And then, you know, obviously you don't wanna leave that exposed. So the cap will pop back into place.

And these things are really tight too. So I feel like they do a decent job of keeping everything sealed up. To me this is just one of these small parts. It's just good to keep, you know, replaced every now and again. What happens over time They just wear out, you know what I mean They get sun faded, kind of start to dry rot.

You know, if you're in and out of the water with em, and this is a good example of one that's several years old. It's started to dry rot, try to push it in place, and the center of it just pushed through. So, you know, if you're cap and everything's still in good shape, you can get away with just get the the replacement plugs like this one here that way put it in, keep everything sealed. And that way, you know, you don't end up chewing your bearings up, getting dirt and everything else inside of there. And I was replacing one, I would probably just replace 'em all.

You know, it's one of those small things to just, just knock 'em all out. Like that's just me. And I mean, you know, the type of stuff happens. Like I said, they just wear out, you grease 'em forget to put 'em back in. Whatever the case may be at the very least, there's an option available that you can grab these and get fixed back up. The plug does feel like it's made from some type of rubber, pretty thick. Like I said, I feel like it should hold up for quite some time. That one I just had was super old. So I got a lot of life out of it. But other than that though, I mean, at the end of the day you know, that's really about it. Regardless if you need these, or let's say, even if you're looking for the whole whole deal, you need the cap as well. Tons of different options available here at etrailer. So regardless on the small ins and outs that you need, we should be able to get you covered. And that'll finish up our look at of the true ride plugs for the EZ Lube grease caps..

Great affordable way to keep your hubs on. They have been in my trailer for about a year and they are still in good condition.

Replaced my old the grease cap plugs on my boat trailer. Fit perfectly.

I tried this product for an aviation application. I own a DHC-2 Beaver aircraft that has a tail wheel axle that is 1.125 inch ID. I wanted an end cap that was removable because the axle tube is used to steer the aircraft with a hand held bar during some ground movement. So far the rubber cap seems to work. It has remained on during several flights. It is easy to remove and insert. The only problem may occur if the cap mounting area of the axle become oily or greasy which may allow the cap to slip off. It seems to need a friction fit to stay on.

Same as described above.

Holds up better than the original off my 24ft enclosed trailer. No issues even after one year of being beaten by the Arizona sun.

The price was very reasonable. Fast ship time too. I've always had great luck with etrailer.

perfect fit for the ezlube hub

These guys are great. Good quality and very fast shipping. They always seem to have what we need. Thanks

fit well, excellent price compared to brick & mortar local sources.
love the EZ-lube axles, not a fan of how these rubber plugs deteriorate, crack and come apart.
Now we have a source.

Seee review for grease seals.

Always great doing business with etrail er

Excellent. Fit tightly and are a much better quality than the original

better quality than what came new on my dexter axles and a perfect fit

Always excellent prompt service from you Trailer. Thank you.

The grease cap plugs appear to be heavy enough to perform as desired. I'm a suspenders and belt kind of guy so ordered 3 sets. I hope I didn't need them all before I get too old to pull a trailer.

Grease caps - fit, work as designed

Grease Caps - still fit, still work as designed a year later. Removed &amp replaced twice to add grease to hubs. The caps remain flexible, no drying or UV cracking. What more do you want? They are grease caps. Oh, I get it ... These etrailer grease caps have changed my life. I lost 135 pounds since I bought them - Oh wait ... that was the x-wife and the divorce ...

These appear to be identical to what came on my trailer - 2020 Tracker/Trailstar trailer(for Tracker 175TF boat). They fit over the metal dust cap, within which is the zerk fitting for grease replacement. They fit, but I also bought the yellow silicone version that seem a little more durable and which also fit perfectly: DE29GR Replacement Lube Plug for DeeMax Grease Caps.

Worked great.

This product is great. Awesome customer service.

These are the caps that get removed to pump grease into an Ultra-lube hub. Perfect fit on my trailer with AL-KO 8490 axles and 10x2.25 brakes. Very nice price for a product that can be hard to find locally.
I can't prove it, but my research suggests these cross reference to:
+ 85-10
+ AL KO #568067
+ Hayes #09213611
+ TruRyde RG01-010
+ Dexter 085-001-00

Great service from a trusted company, based on MY experience!

I got just what I needed, thanks

The Greese caps are still holding great, no trouble at all.

the product was exactly as described and fit perfectly.
it was received in a timely manner.

These fit my Dexter EZ Lube axles perfe ctly.

I just put them on my trailer and they fit perfectly. They are made of quality rubber and they're exactly what I was expecting. Thanks so much.

Great product. Perfect fit.
