RG04-010 TruRyde Rubber Lube Plugs for 1.18" Lubed Dust Cap Hole
Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information.
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the true ride plugs for EZ Lube grease caps. So right off the bat you're probably wondering are these actually gonna fit my trailer And as long as you have the EZ Lube grease caps chances are really good they will. There are a bunch of different manufacturers that make these caps but generally speaking they're all gonna have the same size opening there. So if you pop this one out, like I said majority of them are gonna be the same. So 1.18 size opening.
So if you're unsure, you can measure that and figure that out really. And the whole point of the cap, you know the grease cap and this plug, is allow to you to pop that out like I just did. Get your grease gun in there and lube up all of your parts inside of there with ease. And then, you know, obviously you don't wanna leave that exposed. So the cap will pop back into place.
And these things are really tight too. So I feel like they do a decent job of keeping everything sealed up. To me this is just one of these small parts. It's just good to keep, you know, replaced every now and again. What happens over time They just wear out, you know what I mean They get sun faded, kind of start to dry rot.
You know, if you're in and out of the water with em, and this is a good example of one that's several years old. It's started to dry rot, try to push it in place, and the center of it just pushed through. So, you know, if you're cap and everything's still in good shape, you can get away with just get the the replacement plugs like this one here that way put it in, keep everything sealed. And that way, you know, you don't end up chewing your bearings up, getting dirt and everything else inside of there. And I was replacing one, I would probably just replace 'em all.
You know, it's one of those small things to just, just knock 'em all out. Like that's just me. And I mean, you know, the type of stuff happens. Like I said, they just wear out, you grease 'em forget to put 'em back in. Whatever the case may be at the very least, there's an option available that you can grab these and get fixed back up. The plug does feel like it's made from some type of rubber, pretty thick. Like I said, I feel like it should hold up for quite some time. That one I just had was super old. So I got a lot of life out of it. But other than that though, I mean, at the end of the day you know, that's really about it. Regardless if you need these, or let's say, even if you're looking for the whole whole deal, you need the cap as well. Tons of different options available here at etrailer. So regardless on the small ins and outs that you need, we should be able to get you covered. And that'll finish up our look at of the true ride plugs for the EZ Lube grease caps..

Returning customer! Will be using this on my pontoon boat trailer. Excellent packaging, price, and customer service. Thanks, I highly recommend etrailer and will shop with them for my future trailer needs.
Typical axle grease caps. Good as any, they'll last until they dry rot. If you run trailers, the caps are a consumable item.
It was just rubber grease plugs, but etrailer is my go to for trailer parts.
I tried this product for an aviation application. I own a DHC-2 Beaver aircraft that has a tail wheel axle that is 1.125 inch ID. I wanted an end cap that was removable because the axle tube is used to steer the aircraft with a hand held bar during some ground movement. So far the rubber cap seems to work. It has remained on during several flights. It is easy to remove and insert. The only problem may occur if the cap mounting area of the axle become oily or greasy which may allow the cap to slip off. It seems to need a friction fit to stay on.

Same as described above.
Not much to say. Etrailer had what I needed. Fast shipping. A+
Perfect replacement. The old ones became brittle and cracked so this was the fix solution.

Just pulled them out and regreased all 4 hubs. Still working great.
I tried to buy these elsewhere but got the wrong size. etrailer had enough information that I was able to pick the correct size. The etrailer ones are already installed and came at a reasonable price.
correct size for my older tracker boat trailer. arrived 1 day sooner than estimate. etrailer.com has always been a great source for information and parts. thanks!
fit well, excellent price compared to brick & mortar local sources.
love the EZ-lube axles, not a fan of how these rubber plugs deteriorate, crack and come apart.
Now we have a source.
Thx
Fits onto hub but does not prevent grease from leaking and making a mess.
Fantastic product Fits like OEM...Great price too!
perfect replacement for my sun damaged originals.
Perfectly fit my hub covers.
Go to place for good parts.
THEY HAD MY PURCHASE HISTORY @ THEIR FINGERTIPS! I'M NOT THRILLED ABOUT THE DURABILITY OF THE CAPS. I ONLY REPLACED THEM 3-4 YEARS AGO, AND THEY SEEM TO BE GETTING PRETTY SPONGY. THEY NEED A DIFFERENT MATERIAL THAT WON'T REACT WITH THE BEARING GREASE
These are the caps that get removed to pump grease into an Ultra-lube hub. Perfect fit on my trailer with AL-KO 8490 axles and 10x2.25 brakes. Very nice price for a product that can be hard to find locally.
I can't prove it, but my research suggests these cross reference to:
+ 85-10
+ AL KO #568067
+ Hayes #09213611
+ TruRyde RG01-010
+ Dexter 085-001-00
EXACTLY what I needed. It’s nice to have all things “trailer” in one spot.
etrailer does a great job with inventory, pricing and delivery
Needed to replace the originals they sometimes get a hole when removing to grease the axil. These are a good replacement.
Do yourself a favor and just buy TRP grease caps. They are thicker, a bit stiffer, and last longer than cheaper, thinner, flimsy crap that's sold elsewhere.
Quick and easy to look up, purchase, and receive. Very durable replacement caps!
Replaced my old the grease cap plugs on my boat trailer. Fit perfectly.
Great affordable way to keep your hubs on. They have been in my trailer for about a year and they are still in good condition.
The price was very reasonable. Fast ship time too. I've always had great luck with etrailer.
