Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement latch for TruXedo Deuce 2, Edge, Lo Pro QT, or original TruXedo tonneau covers. Now, this is going to be the latch at the end of your tonneau cover that secures that tonneau cover down and allows you to open it up from your tailgate. We're going to have our latch and the plate there and, also, our spring plate to get that installed.Now, you may need to bend this spring plate a little bit to get it to properly work since it needs a little bit of tension to be put on the spring. You will also have to remove the header stop there and the hardware and re-use that old hardware from your header stop to get this in place. This is what's going to come with our kit here, just the latch plate and latch itself and our spring plate.Now, if you have the Honda Ridgeline, you might need to pick up a different part number, which will be TX1116224 or TX1116724. Both of those are sold separately, and you can find them here at etrailer.com.There's also a lot of other replacement parts for your TruXedo tonneau covers.

Yeah bought a 2019 Ford Raptor SCAB that came with a Gator soft cover. I noticed it was missing the clamp on the passenger side so I came to etrailer. I spoke to George and Nathan to ensure it was what I needed. Got it in a short amount of time and chose the cheapest form of shipment. It fits and works perfectly. I don’t understand how others have said this needs a spring? Mine came with the latch and the aluminum piece that gives it the spring action so it works just like the other one.
Exactly what I needed to replace my broken latch. Actually I only used the latch itself for replacement. Fixed my problem.
The company has it all, fair prices, and lightning fast delivery. This is not a complaint but a recommendation. I had a part that was discontinued and I about gave up. I searched etrailer and other sites. Luckily through one last random search I found a aftermarket part that fit perfect. And guess what it was from etrailer. If they would have pulled it up when I put in the discontinued part number as a replacement it would sell alot more parts :) again what a great company!!!

Great product, I actually bought a Lund Genesis tonneau cover for my 2023 chevy silverado 2500hd. It only comes with one latch on it and I purchased your latch so it locks on both sides. I couldn't find a latch on Lund's website and your latch was a perfect match.

Great replacement latch. Replaced the worn out latch with a new latch and added another latch to the other side. Works well and super snug tonneau cover. super easy to change out.
Received part in a timely manner. Installed latch on my tonneau cover today and everything seems to work fine.
Very easy install even without instructions. I just needed to use my 1/2 inch socket to take out the bolt holding the old flat spring and replace it with the new one. The toggle latch just needs to be positioned between the header stop and flat spring.
Added to my cover to make it stronger.

I installed the new cover latch per the instructions that you included. It had to be installed on the passenger side, because the closure bar was worn down on the drivers side. It works great, and keeps the cover latched in the closed position. Thanks for the quick shipment, as we have need to travel next week and want to make sure the cover stays closed.

High quality and exactly what I needed. I bought this to have a latch on both sides of the cover. Having both sides latched just made more sense to me and I feel that it provides a more security.
Don't have much to say although it was a tad difficult to make sure I had the right part I needed as I wasn't sure what I was looking for but once found it was very easy to find and pictures helped out greatly. Also once I purchase this item shipping was very fast and only took 4 days to get here from the time I ordered till the time it got to me. I do appreciate that quickness and the fast process thank you so much.
Fit like a glove and worked perfectly! Maybe a little overpriced for what it it but compared to everyone else about the same. The latch itself is made out of aluminum (soft compared to the metal frame it latches to) and obviously every time you open and close it, it rubs on the harder metal and wears a little off and rounds the end of the latch to where it eventually won't stay latched and pops open which is the reason I had to replace my latch to start with. I think a simple design like a door in your house with the harder Latch Strike and a harder metal latch would make these last virtually forever. But them you wouldn't need to buy these replacements...But what do I know
This part was perfect and all I needed to get my truxedo topper to stay locked. As advertised! Perfect part.

By replacing one worn out latch with a pair of these high quality latches I no longer have to worry about my cover popping up at high speeds or when driving on rough surfaces. These are nice latches and priced reasonably. I’m very satisfied with them.

Its worked perfect.. The cover wasnt staying shut with just one latch worn aluminum catch part Just what the doctor ordered!
