Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Valcrum universal oil cap wrench for 2-1/4 inch and 2-1/2 inch hex caps. Now, this oil cap wrench will help tighten or remove hex-shaped oil or grease caps. It is certified for use on the Valcrum brand caps, but it will work on most 2-1/2 inch caps and 2-1/4 inch caps using this included reducer sleeve. And just to demonstrate what we're talking about, I happen to pull, here's a 2-1/2 inch Valcrum cap, and you can see when it's installed, this will fit right over the cap and then you'll be able to tighten it or loosen it, whichever way you need, and then you just remove it. If you notice it has the nice long angled arm, so it'll let you apply more force to the stubborn caps and it'll also let you grip the wrench without scraping your knuckles on the lugs.

In the very end here, they have these impact points. Make it very easy to use a mallet if needed. Very thick handles are easy to grip even if you're wearing gloves. And we mentioned if you have a smaller 2-1/4 inch cap, what you can do is take this included reducer sleeve, pop it right in there, and on each side there's two set screws and two set screws, you tighten it down the hole that in place, and now you'd be able to use it on the smaller 2-1/4 inch size caps. It is a aluminum alloy construction, so it does resist corrosion, very lightweight.
