Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents. This unit replaces a broken screen frame and screen on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent for motor homes and enclosed trailers. It's going to be held securely in place by the frame itself and the screen is known to keep out debris and insects when the vent is open. It's a really nice design. Again, this is going to replace the screen frame and the actual screen. It works with Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2110, V2094 and V2119. It's polar white in color.
It's made in the U.S.A. I'm going to go ahead and show you how to replace the screen frame and screen. It's a very easy process. I do have an actual vent right here. What we need to do is just gain access to the hand knob. Again, it's going to be pretty simple.
My application simply just calls for a Phillip's head screwdriver. Place that in there and I need to remove that screw that holds that handle in place or that hand knob in place, so loosen that up all the way. We'll just take that screw and set it aside. Then what you want to do is you just want to pull up on that handle. You can wiggle it loose. It's going to pop right off of there.
It's got a nice groove design because those grooves engage and that allows opening and closing of the vent. You just need to work that off of there and then you can push in on these tabs. That's going to take the old screen out of the vent. Then to place on your new one, just repeat those steps. Make sure these tabs engage in the proper location. That post right there should line up perfectly so that we can place our handle back on.
Push it down into place and then take the screw, drop it in and tighten it down. I also want to point out that the screen itself, so you're going to have the framing and then you're going to have the screen, that screen is removable. That just pops out of there. What that does is it simply allows you to remove it from the entire screen frame and vent in case you need to wash it or clean it off. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents.

The part was delivered quickly with no damage. I had to remove and reinstall the vent dome garnish to install the new screen frame. Reinstalling the two screws into the metal vent support was a bit tedious as it is hard to see the holes and I dropped the screws multiple times. Fortunately I had closed my bathroom sink drain as one did end up in the basin.
Exact replacement for old vent (wiped out by a hail storm), no issues, still works great.
It was easy to install, but within 4 months the screen fell off on a bumpy road. The tabs didn't break off yet, like the original ones did. I will need to hold it on with tape.
Installation is not as obvious as you might expect, but I got 3 and they work as expected- all good!
Shipping was fast. Product is a perfect fit. I personally feel that the design of the knob cover should be incorporated into the screen section and not the frame. The current design is to allow for removal of the screen without removing the knob, however, this cover does not fit tightly leaving a gap. Removing the knob to remove the screen is not difficult, and having this cover integrated to the screen would eliminate the gap issue.

I like the improved screens they went on very easily. They will be a whole lot easier to maintain in the old-style. And kudos to Debra H. at etrailer for getting my order processed quickly.
Unfortunately, they used the cheapest, most brittle plastic to make these fans and screens. Original one wasn't even 2 years old and every tab had broken off the frame, the screen frame fell apart. Replacement parts were of the same, cheap plastic and will last about as long as the original. Way too expensive for what you get.

These fit and worked great. The much needed updates to my 2001 Ragen Toy Hauler are going well.
This was a perfect replacement for my 2019 Coachmen Catalina SBX. I was surprised at how brittle the original had become. Be aware that the installation video may not be applicable to your requirement. I had to remove the outer frame first before I could remove the old screen and put the new one in.

We bought so many things to upgrade our camper last year that I forgot we also bought the screens from etrailer. After a year we are fully satisfied with all our purchases from etrailer. Plan to upgrade to larger wheels and tires. Thanks etrailer
Perfect fit looks and works great!
These were the updated version of my old screens, they replaced the others perfectly, and now the screen insert just pops out to clean instead of having to undo the lift knobs and undo the valance screws, so much simpler to clean any dead bugs that always seem to get between the vent lid and screen.

Year has gone by, still happy with them!
I've placed 2 orders with etrailer. Both arrived in minimal time and everything was as ordered. I just wish I could get my act together and order everything at once - but their economy shipping still makes my orders less than any other place. All items have installed perfectly - enjoyed working with them. I'm glad I found them as a source of my 5th wheel needs.
